Below mentioned is not my experience with lifeline, I've just copy pasted what was said by various people.

I also have had very bad experience in Life line, Perungudi. They have made the patient admitted for surgery to share room with another patient having malaria. Also they said a lie that insurance will pay the complete expenses and finally came and asked us to pay 30% of the bill which was close to 20k.

Never ever go to Rigid or Lifeline Hospital. The doctors and people working there are as greedy as wolves. Coz, even I underwent an ugly treatment from the same Dr. Rajkumar (Rigid Hospital) when I took my father (ailing with large Gastric Ulcer) on Feb 2, 2007.

Even without examining my father nor completely referring all the medical reports, he asked me to admit my father for an operation in just 2 days.

And he said that my father’s entire stomach has to be removed. My parents and I were totally surprised by the way he arrived at the option of performing a surgery. Without giving us much time, he asked us to contact the reception guy regarding the admission and operation charges.

He also said that he will do the surgery only in LifeLine hospital and not in Rigid Hospital. We were biased by the way he talked and were not given much time to think. Since we didn’t had much exposure We even finalized to admit my father the next day. At that time, the Lifeline hospital in Perungudi was not even fully built.

The guy at the reception said that they have packages for hospital admission. He offered me “1 Lakhs for 5 days” package excluding medicines, lab, and surgeon charges. Fortunately, one of my uncle found it fishy and asked me to go for second consultation. Later we came to know that for my father, if he was operated he wouldn’t have survived more than a month. So as per the Second doctor’s advice we admitted my father in another hospital. My father recovered by taking basic therapy and medicines…..”

Even now if I recollect the doctor’s greed and the situations we underwent, I feel a Holy presence has save us from those cheaters.

My kind advice to my brothers and sisters reading this. Never ever go to LifeLine or Rigid Hospitals.

It’s not about the money I care about, but the lives of our loved ones.

Even I had a bad experience few weeks back in Perungudi. I had a small accident. Because I had pain and swelling in my head, my parents got panicked and they took me to lifeline hospital in Madipakkam. The general doctor over there asked us to take CT scan and hence we went to Perungudi Lifeline. Once the report came, they asked us to consult Neuro surgeon in Lifeline to see if there are any problems. When the surgeon got the report, he didn’t even care to see my report. He just said “you reports are fine. I have my own clinic in Madipakkam. If you have further pain, you can come there”. He never had any time to explain my report but had all the time in world to tell me the way to his clinic J He then gave his Card and asked us to meet him there. I was totally shocked to see such a greedy doctor.

Recently I was taken to Lifeline hospital , when I was unconscious. They scared my brother and took CTscan(which is not necessary ) and many check up , We were charged around 3000. Next day when I consulted with another lady doctor , she said it is because of stress and low BP and she asked me to take rest for some days and eat well .

when I was admitted in that hospital , in the meantime a girl from CTS came to that hospital for normal vomiting and headache , immediately she were asked to get admit in emergency ward, One thing I noticed is , the ultimate aim of Lifeline is suc8ing money from IT people

When I had small conversation with the ward boy who is working over there, he said most of the people were from IT , and whatever may be the problem the patient will be asked to take scan and they will put unnecessary charges and he asked me to go to some good hospital.

I had an accident a couple of years back on my way to office in my bike.

I had multiple fractures in the left side of my face, with a fragment dislocated (thanks to my helmet, saved my life) and was admitted in the Lifeline Hospital.

Since the accident happened on the way to the office, they knew where I was working.

After all the tests happened in the morning (Bills crossed 20k in a time of 2.5hrs), a doctor calling himself a Facial Maxillary Surgeon came to me looked into the CT scan reports and said that, I had to undergo a operation for placing micro plates in the face or else he said that there’ll be a dent in the face and the dent will spoil the looks and he was forcing to undergo the operation the very next day. But I don’t know why, my dad never wanted that operation to happen and he said no to the doctor’s proposal.

This made that doctor to tell that the operation’s cost is just Rs.30, 000/- and said that my company will be paying it and why do you want to bother about that.

He was pressuring my dad, who clearly decided against the operation (even he doesn’t know why he was so stubborn and against it. He kept telling that something stopped him to accept, I consider this as my luck).

Then came a lady calling an Anesthesia Specialist, looked at my reports and said that there is no problem with me and I’m clear to go to the operation.

But my dad was still stubborn and did not budge.

1k each just for a 10 minutes consultation.

The next day they were not ready to discharge me when my dad wanted to. They kept calling and pressurizing him, and they were not ready to give my discharge summary and then at last, they discharged me without the discharge summary (which I had to go a few days later to get it). They didn’t even send that to me on post.

Even after my discharge they kept calling me and my dad and were urging to come and undergo the operation.

After a second consultation, another doctor said that the dislocated bone would not cause any problems in the future and said the surgery is not required.
