I am a regular buyer from Reliance Fresh, Chitlapakkam. The customer service is very poor in this Chitlapakkam Shop. The Fruits especially bananas are rotten and cannot be used. They always give rotten bananas for a 50% offer. The price tag put for fruits always varies. When I bought 1 kg of poovan banana they charged me Rs.26 where as the price tag shows only Rs.19. When I asked the billing counter about this. They told it is wrongly put there. Such irresponsible answer that was.
Another product which you should not buy from Reliance is the Milk. Milk is also on offer always. They dont have proper refrigerating mechanism for Milk. I stopped buying Milk after it was spoilt in many occassions.
Beware before buying any product from Reliance, please check the shelf life and product pricing because they are masters in cheating. Be very careful when you buy bottled milk items, Last week (Jan 2009) when I visited the Reliance Fresh. There was an offer for Amul Cool milk which was offered at Rs.8 against the Rs.12 MRP. But when I looked at the Amul Cool bottled drink all were expired. I dont know how many people consumed it without knowing.
The Amul Cool has a shelf life of 6 months. All the Amul Cool drink displayed as offer is more than 7 months old. So beware, dont buy any products in discount. Dont buy any fruits in offer and endanger your health. You get fresh fruits in the roadside good shops instead of believing these big cheaters with a brand name.
Another problem is the parking. Since this shop is located on the Chitlapakkam main road. There is no parking available for Cars. They occupy the road causing problem to the vehicular traffic.
