Thanks Sathyanarayanan! My suspension has now softened a bit. It isn't as hard as it used to be in the beginning. ajay20101985 @ The rear disc brake is extremely useful and effective. Unless you press it really hard, it never skids. I almost never have to use the front brakes. Only at times of em...ergency do I have to use both the brakes. Read More

avisullia @ I don’t agree with u when u said Honda quality sucks. People r ready to wait for Honda products just for their quality.. Activa has still managed to survive & has completed successfull 10 years...& its the first choice of any body who’s looking for a gear less bike.. It...’s the hype that has been created which I too fell for. Those who think Activa is great haven’t ridden an Access. And once you have ridden an Access, you’ll laugh at an Activa. It’s just a brand marketing which works pretty well. You see, when people shop for mineral water or bandage, they ask for Bisleri or Band-Aid. It’s not because their quality is best. it’s just because they were the first and they have been for a very long time. When u switch from geared bike to grearless scooter, u will only loose the thrill of the speed....but vice versa, u could feel that gread bikes are so useless that u cannot carry a pack of Agarbatti in that.... May be you didn’t read my post properly. I sold of my Access, which is a gearless Suzuki scooter. I guess you are a pro-honda user who got too irked by the title of this post and just jumped to post a comment. From your other comment on TVS Wego review: TVS doesnt give any spare parts free except inner box which is factory fitted... Honda even charges for the side-stand and the side step (for ladies sitting sideways), which comes as a standard fitment in Access! So, please don’t sing praises of Honda just because they have a long waiting period. I own two Honda vehicles now and have owned TVS, Bajaj and Yamaha bikes earlier. Their quality is good but it’s certainly not exceptional. And their after-sales service simply doesn’t justify the price.Read More

Somewhenere I too have an inclination towards Honda quality, but your recent experiences with Dazzler, Activa is from a very practical viewpoint. Appreciate that. To be frank I’m quite happy now with the Dazzler. The paint quality, engine, etc. is no doubt good compared to other manufacturers. ...However, looking at the overall increase in price you are paying, the quality really doesn’t justify it because the service is same everywhere - pathethic. In the end, service rules. Before buying a vehicle, I would highly recommend to go to their service centers and get feedback from their customers. The Activa decision however is something that I’ll have to rue for maybe the next 3 years of my life :) I’ll try filling the tyres with nitrogen and see if it could ease things a bit. After switch over, she is happy with Access comparison to Activa, though access is a bit slower... (i.e, it is just that gear ratios are bit different, than the engine capacity) ...this solved the issue of frequent mishaps my firend used to face :) - Which she claims as bad luck of her Activa !!! Even my wife said it was scary riding an Activa after riding Access. Activa appeared to be very light and flighty to her. Dream bike is the one that has got all the plus side from Yamaha-Honda-Bajaj - the YaHoBa bike - my dream project !!! That would be really great! However with my recent experiences i think I would rather buy a high-end cycle. It’s great not only for your health but for the environment also.Read More

Thanks for sharing your views contact_aravind and sathyanarayanan89. I still have some disagreement here. There needs to some movement in the suspension to absorb the shocks.Otherwise what is the need for suspension? However, It must not be too much, like you said in gas shocks and too less. Dazzler... I believe falls in the too less category. I don’t know, my hard ride may be due to the front fork problems (excessive vibrations in the handle bar) which the service people told me today. I’ll let you know after it gets resolved.Read More

Nice review. I 'm just waiting for my 2011 model and reviews like these just make me more and more anxious :) Anyway, for what some call small/tiny bike, it's really a boon to people like me :) I'm 5' 5'' and I find this bike just perfect for me.

I fell for the 3G hype and went for a Tata Docomo 3G data card. While I have experienced peak speeds of upto 1.5 Mbps (during off-peak hours), during peak hours the speed is pathetic (less than 250 kbps) with frequent drops. I think these companies are simply taking people for a ride in the name...Read more

Thanks for dropping by my site :) Try iBibo. Even they aggregate prices from all airlines. I have booked many times through them but have not experienced their customer service, so can't quote on that. The best is like what you said, use them for fares and book directly from airline site.

deepak27@ I can easily file a case against them but I want to hit them really hard. Paying up may not be tough on them. They'll continue to keep doing this as only one in 100 victims may file a court case. The reason I built this site is because I'm going to do all that I can to promote this site up... in search engines. So when people search for Make My Trip, they'll see my site and my experience and dare not book a hotel with them. This will hit them really hard. That's what I have in my mind. Rest is god's wish. rajivhegde@ Yes I did contact makemytrip. All I got was ''We are really sorry. If you will do lot of city driving, I would really not suggest an Avenger. As it has a forward leg stance (typically suited for cruising), it'll cause lot of discomfort if you have to get your leg down and up often (city driving). It's because, unlike commuter bikes, you just can't drop your legs do...wn at stops. You have to lift your legs a bit from the forward stance and then drop it. Bring it back requires effort too.Read More
