An update on 19/3/2012. Front fork tubes and steering conset replaced. The highest spare bill ever since I bought the bike. Rs.2000+200 for repair. The fine thing is it rides like new..

An update on 15/03/12 Two links of the drive chain has been removed, since it is no longer possible to adjust the rear axle.

Thanks for the comments PinakiP. I am currently using MRF tyres on back and front. Front tyres are the normal 2.75'' and back tyres changed to 3'' ones after the first set wore off. But in my opinion the previous back tyre from TVS was the best. It had solid grip and comfortable ride and gave about ...55000km. The current one is skid happy. Oil used is Castrol 2040. My advise is never try to save money by not changing oil. The oil you drain can be used to lubricate the drive chain. Do it every 1000km.Oil filter to be cleaned every 2000km. To clean the oil filter open the filter cover and pull out the filter. Slowly take out the outer and inner elements. Soak in kerosene and wring dry. The apply 10ml gear oil and wring out excess. Ready! Your shoulders will tell you when to change the fork oil ;). Happy riding!!Read More
