Whatever the style pundits might say, there is no car like the Maruti 800.
The one I had shared all my good moments in life, without complaints or protests.
I can still bet that there is no car today which offers so much visibility. No A pillar hindrances, no blind spots and visibility at the rear. I have driven through very narrow bridges without even a scratch.
Also it was a reasonable fast pacer too without AC. All the while it was giving 20+ mileage and to my surprise when due to bad fuel I had to clean the tank I found another 8 litres in it.
I have run it continuously for 8 hours at a stretch without a problem and no major complaints in the 7+ years I owned it.
I will still recommend it as a first car for anybody.
