The engine's EVM was retuned for my car the Sundaram Motors, Chennai where I bought the car. The low pick up was fixed and I felt a vast difference in the 2nd and 3rd gears after that. I'm not a car expert so, please do check reviews of Ritz as well :) However, a few things that you can look out for are, if you are going to drive 800 km per month, please do consider a Diesel variant. If you are ok with a Petrol car, then what are y...our preferences? If you are looking for a good service network and low maintenance cost, then Ritz is good. The chevy BEAT is equally good and just that you need to settle with whatever is offered by the company service centres. If well maintained, the car is an awesome piece to drive.Read More

@venkatas2011 - No it is just the regular brakes. I had an experience on the highway. It was night time where a lorry started to enter in to the highway without headlights and I was cruising at 100+. I stopped at least 3 to 4 feet from the vehicle with less effort. The brakes are very responsive.

@dineba10 - I would personally suggest TVS Sundaram Motors as I feel that they are better than KLN Motors. I just did my first paid service with KLN service center at Ambattur Industrial Estate as it was near to my residence. They did not pay attention to all my complaints I had before the service. ...For example, I wanted the wiper blades to be changed as I was not getting a clean swipe and was leaving trails. The service incharge simply suggested me to clean the windshield with cloth before using wiper!! TVS Sundaram Motors is a better dealer and service is also good.Read More

I have had only one bad experience with the parking staff. I had reached the theatre almost 2 hours ahead as I wanted to check out the Blur - gaming arena. The incharge there said that since my movie time was much later I had to pay another Rs. 30 extra, which I did. I did not notice that the parkin...g ticket given to me was only for Rs. 30 but I had paid Rs. 60. This created a problem when I moved my car towards exit after the movie... The incharge was gone after his duty hours and it was a different guy with who I had to argue that I had already paid the extra money!! So beware and do not pay upfront if you are early to the theatre. They will never accept their fault and would act as if you are arguing for the ''Rs.30''!Read More

@indianwebmaster - I did not have the low ground clearance issue until I had a little accident where I hit a huge block of concrete that was lying on the side of an unilluminated road. It damaged a little of the car's left side underbody. I think out of the box and BEAT is the one for me. i10 or Ritz or Figo all are contemprory to me. They are all over priced and in the name of service make people compromise. Even Tat Manza has features packed but the service matter. I'm satisified with the service I get for my BEAT at Chennai.

ICICI Bank

I think rns123 is from ICIC Bank. There have been many instances in ATM's (just not ICICI) where it dispenses less than what was requested and it is a hectic job to get back your money. If you do not report, it goes unnoticed and is profit for the bank!!
