Sir, may I ask you that how did you made sure that norton didn't recogonise any virus? Reason for asking this question is because there are different kind of scans norton antivirus provides. 1. Quick scan. 2. Full system scan. 3. Customised scan. 4. Norton power eraser scan. So, I would suggest... you to always run live updates of your norton( you are not using it though) . Then, if you are always running a quick scan it will not resolve or remove every threat from your system. Its highly recommended to run full system scan once in a month or whenever you feel like. Still after all these still you suspect viruses or malwares trojans on your system you can use norton power eraser. Even now you can use this free tool after uninstalling the norton. Now a days many scammers do these things on the name of reputeted companies. Its just not limited to antivirus or Norton. Let me help you with this. None of the support technicians never ask for passwords or your personal/ confidential information. If they are then they are scammers. Also, comapn...ies like symantec, microsoft, mcafee never ask for service charges ( apart from some special queues in some countires) . Antivirus companies never calls you to ask for renewal updates, instead if you are enrolled in automatic renewal they will charge your card with prior notification and if not enrolled you can do it yourself online from the durect website of the service provider. Good concern sir, I know i'm too late to respond and sure that you are still continuing with the same subscription, however in future whenever you feel that your system is working slow you can use these steps. 1. Press windows + R key - Write temp and hit enter - delete all the files and close t...he window. 2. Press windows + R key - write % temp% - delete all the files and close the window. 3. Press windows + R key - write cleanmgr and hit enter - select all locations and perform a disc cleanup. I'm sure your system will work better than before. Did I answered your question sir?
