Double concerto is on Music Today. Other L Subramaniam works with orchestra's are there as well, try listening to albums Shanthi Priya, Live in Moscow. He is a genius just like his brother L. Shankar (ex-Shakti member)

Rind posh maal, thaalatum kaatre (poovelam un vasam) is to be added in the list for shankar. i am lucky to have met him (as my cusin sis is a singer) and also hav an autoraphed copy of his album NINE! yes... a comment on him which my cusin made was... when i told that she'd heard a shankar song...... (en anbae en anbae) the reply came... well... no... but am sure it must be a song in which he must be singing in highest pitches (Rather she meant KATTHINDU PAADIRPAAN !!) ;-) aparnaRead More

a little correction buddy - Thaaye Yashoda has Ranjani singing the English lines and not Gayatri! about Mahaganapatim having 'ganpati bappa morya' lines in the song cos its traditionally related to ganapati and also the movie its shown that shabana sings back on ganesh chaturti ! and Kalyani... Menon is unmatchable (as you said her voice is childish and mature)... is mother of photographer Rajiv MenoN! if u happened to listen to Saathiya's tamil version.... there is a song 'Alaipayuthey' (same as title) by her... u will like it... do hear if you havent yet :)Read More

I have seen the movie, its superb and I have its audio cd which is priced reasonably at Rs. 125/- and marketed by Music Today. The movie is totally musical, and is totally women-oriented for the vocals. Director Mahesh Dattani has used Devotional singer and now recently playback singer - Bomb...Read more

This movie is a simple approach of bringing two world's together - be it the fusion of Carnatic and Rock Musi...Read more

Surely this film is a thousand times better than Main Hoon Na, and is worth watching once even though if you are not a hardcore Hrithik Fan. The film had already begun as I entered the hall, to start this film belongs to Hrithik alone. All other characters including Mr. BigB and Priety have v...Read more
