The information provided on mileage is misleading. Road test by reputed agencies like Autocar using scientific methods have clearly shown the mileage given by this car is less that what this reader has posted.

A month back my close friend had asked my opinion on a good B+ Segment car. He had zeroed on Spark as Santro was out of his budget. Subsequent to the purchase, I had to drive him around (until now) as he is yet to learn driving!! I own a Santro Xing 2004 model (XP) and during the process of driv...Read more

Your comments do not provide compartivie figures for the bike you are comparing with Yamaha Gladiator. Also Bajaj Discover the market leader (as far as sales is concerned) has not been taken into consideration. Your comment that Yamaha gladiator is fastest (top speed of 110 KM / Hr) is debatable. S...urely it cannot be faster than Pulsar 150 CC which has higher engine displacement. Hence your review has to be taken with a pinch of salt.Read More

Bajaj has got one of the best customer care. I would advice you to write to the Customer Relations Manager in the HO - Pune to resolve the problem. Avenger has one of the slickest gearshift (while shifting from gears 1-5) and it is bit notchy while downshifting. I would not agree with your comments ...that it is difficult to do neck lock of the bike (although Bajaj should have given central locking facility) which requires a bit of getting used to (All bajaj and LML scooter owners present and erstwhile would be able to tell how easy it is). The positioning of the ignition key is a irritant especially when the engine is hot and you try to switch off and on in traffic, but once you get used to it, you will be able to do it unconsciously. But it is no excuse for not having the ignition key on top of the bike!! Avenger is not designed for great mileage, a mileage of 37 to 40 is a good enough mileage while driving in city driving conditions. All should remember that Avenger has been designed for highway driving / cruising and not a city bike.Read More

Come September 2008 and I will be completing three years on my silver Avenger.  Avenger 180 which is a Pulsar 180 engine retuned to city and highway riding is a pleasant bike to ride, but without pillion.  Avenger is not a pillion rider friendly bike because the seat is narrow at the back and ha...Read more
