Hi, guys my self mangesh bachhav, I am Design as well as maintenanceengg. I am having 7 year exp. of Automobile industries & differenttypes of engines. I wan to share my knowledge with all off you .
When I was purchase the Yamaha gladiator that time I am working in one two wheeler company
While I was purchasing the bike, I was compare this with other 125 cc bikes.
I found that YAMAHA GLADIATOR IS REALLY GREAT BIKE IN 125 CC. IN FOLLOWING POINTS.
1) IN 125 CC YAMAHA GLADIATOR HAVING 11 BHP POWER NO OTHER BIKE HAVING.
2) I GOT THE CONSTANT MORE THAN 60 KM/L MILLAGE WITH HIGH SPEED.
3) SMOOTHEST GEAR BOX IN ALL SEGMENT.(WORLD CLASS GEAR BOX)
4) VERY COMFORTABLE RIDING NO BACK PAIN LIKE HERO HONDA BIKES.
5) ENGINE IS SQUARE TYPE CAUSE EQUAL PISTON DISPLACEMENT. THAT TYPE OF
ENGINE GIVES THE HIGH STATIC & DYNAMIC STIFFNESS WITH HIGH ACCURACY
THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR CAUSES THE CONSTANT MILLAGE FOR HIGH SPEED ALSO.
6) TORQUE GIVES THE 10.6NM FOR 6500 RPM.
7) THIS IS ONLY PRECISE CONTROLLED BIKE IN INDIA.
8) NO ONE BIKE IN INDIA CROSS THE 110KM/H SPEED(IN 100CC BIKES TO 125 CC BIKE)
ONLY YAMAHA GLADIATOR CROSS THAT SPEED.
9) THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR DELIVER THE CONST. RATIO OF FUEL & AIR.
10) THE MAIN THING IS YAMAHA GLADIATOR PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY IS 95% NO ONE BIKE IN INDIA CANT GIVE THAT TYPE OF EFFICIENCY
NowI edit my review after my gladiator completed the more than 45000 km inthat period I was taken lot of long drives & every month end I wastraveled from pune to kalwan & this distance is near about 320 km& every month end I was travel that distance, lot of distance I wastravel more than 108km/h speed then also bike was running very smoothlywithout producing any vibration with fine control . Real the bikehaving high dynamic & static stiffness.I found the demerit of thisbike for long drive back seat is not that much comfortable.
Now I was change the back Tyre of big size 80/100, bike is running very study.
In that period I found bike having very low maintenance even oil also changes after 5k to 6k .
kms. bike gives same experience like new even improve the performance day by day.
All bikes performance effi. as follows depending on comfort, control, reliability, millage & sustainability
All HERO HONDA BIKES FROM 100CC TO 200CC - ENGINE
> EFF- 70-85%

> ALL BAJAJ BIKES 100CC - 220 CC
> - ENGINE EFF- 65% TO 78%
>
> ALL TVS BIKES 100CC- 160 CC
> - ENGINE EFF- 70 TO 80%
> ONLY THE YAMAHA GLADIATOR BIKE ENGINE PERFORMANCE IS
> 95% & HONDA UNICORN PERFORMANCE EFFI. IS 93%

> NO ONE BIKE IN INDIA CANT GIVE THE THAT MUCH
> EFFICIENCY.
Final Rankings among 125 cc bikes:
Leader of the pack is: 1. Yamaha Gladiator
Distant second is: 2. Suzuki Zeus
Joint Third are: 3. HH Glamor & 3. Honda Shine
And finally 5. Bajaj Discover DTS-i
YamahaGladiator is Great, and is the best bet among 125 cc bikes. In otherbikes something or the other is lacking. Suzuki Zeus lacks in powerpunch. The fifth gear is lacking in all bikes except Yamaha Gladiatorand Suzuki Zeus. Some bikes even lack the basic feul level indicatormeter.
