@mayuri, one hell of a review. its inappropriate for this site but oh so true. R is a verni. ha ha. @rajeebroy: Learn to spell dietician first bloke, then write in public websites. Like i said before, this site is not for your PERSONAL recommendations on her and her bf, so spare us the LOVE. You ...call Mayuri disgusting, for feeling icky on seeing RDs bf`s showering photos, but when RD had no problem posting it for the world to see, why should Mayuri have problems writing about it?Read More

@rajeebroy: I know you have low IQ like that unpad/uneducated RD. I also know you are either she herself or her pal. So let me repeat myself for your benefit...this review category is NOT for her paper napkin sized book, but about HER. So pray, my low IQ, pea brain, `rajeebroy', why should I write a...bout her book?? Besides this site is for professional reviews and not for your personal, love laden recommendations, for her.Read More

@anil None of the people you mentioned above, dealt with HUMANS and HUMAN HEALTH. None of them are medical professionals directly dealing with people. For that, my friend, knowledge via a degree is needed. Would you risk your life and undergo surgery through the hands of a doctor who doesnt have... an MBBS/MD `degree’? Who is a college drop out (like Bill Gates)? Would you say, "No problem, if you dont have a doctors degree boss, but I know you have knowledge. So go ahead operate me. Koi problem nahin!"???. You might, but I am sorry, I cant do that. Neither can I falsely praise books written by unqualified people.Read More

@Mindgrinder-Hey friend of Rs, I know your IQ is too less to understand what I wrote in my review, but try & read it again. One aspect my review talks abt is that she hasnt done BSc nutrition as is recommended by British Dietetic Association and other world Dietetic bodies across the world.... As far as her `PG’ (?) goes, its a PG-Diploma from SNDT because SNDT does not have a Masters course in Sports Nutrition & Nutrition .Though R has cleverly written it as PG on her website, its to fool, fools like you. Anyways this is India, rules are so lax that people like R will fool innocent people and play with their health. Her book has the most ridiculous advice which will have a diet experts rolling on the floor in disgust. Not to mention wrong advice which will cost people their health. Lastly, this forum is to rant about products and service providers, if you dont like my review, write ur own or better still keep YOUR mouth-shut. Read More

@vasudev- I have read the book and found it to have errors with respect to what is recommended by world nutrition bodies. I can tell you the errors if you are interested.

@hermit- when a book deals with something very technical eg: repairing a computer, wud you want to read a book by an author who is a computer expert or by someone who runs a local cycle repair shop? similarly weight loss is technical and books on it should be written by qualified people, my idea... is to show that this book is no written by a qualified person.Read More

1) She isn’t qualified to speak about diet and claims to be a nutritionist, dietitian, sports nutritionist, weight loss expert and what have you? 2) I would like to say, `What a cheek! She has some audacity !'...but this is India mere bhai/behen, here rules & regulations regarding dietitians are ...non-existent. 3) Do you know that as per Dietetic bodies across the world including the British Dietetic Association, to be a Dietitian, one has to have done their Bachelors in Dietetics and then a Masters in the same. Does Rujuta have these qualifications? NO! 4) If you visit her educational profile on her OWN website (www.rujutadiwekar.com), you would see that she has done her BSc in industrial chemistry. For the less informed, `industrial chemistry' is not a nutrition or dietetics subject. If on reading my review, she deletes this info about her BSc from her website, one has to just Google it to find it all over the net. Imp (5) She claims to have done a `PG' in sports science & nutrition. Which, by the way, is a PG-Diploma of 1 year offered by SNDT and not a Masters course. Its not a Masters course because: SNDT does not offer a Masters in Sports Science and Nutrition. The courses offered by SNDT are available on the college website http://sndt.digitaluniversity.ac/Content.aspx?ID=1. Visit Faculty of Home Science in the above link, to see if SNDT has `PG' in sports science and nutrition or only a 1 yr PG-Diploma in the subject.
