I don't know about Mumbai but I went to one of the Airtel Brand shop in Delhi/NCR and the guy there discouraged me to buy datacard he told me that I won't get more than 40kbps (5KBps download speed) though they claim 100 Kbps. It's been 1 yr now since then..not sure if their network has improved in ...last one year. I personally checked the speed at that time and it was around 3-4 KBps. Obviously their claim was for GPRS...but if one gets 3-4 KBps on GPRS..I don't believe that EDGE service will increase the speed by a factor of 8. (Max speed claimed for GPRS 100 Kbps and for EDGE is 247 Kbps) Keeping in mind this factor don't expect over 10 KBps speed on EDGE network. I know that the speed depends on number of users in one cell-site and this number may be small in Mumbai but is very high in Delhi/NCR. Datacards are good for just normal surfing in NCR they are not meant for heavy data transactions.Read More

Price hike is just a rumour. It is a cheap trick played by your dealer. If there is any change in price that would be due to steel price hike in the international market and that will affect all the cars and could be in the tune of 1% of exshowroom price at max.

I failed to understand why the writer posted such review. It appears as if he justed wanted to say that he has purchased Dzire, no more information available from this review.

Writer wrote very generic comments on his posting. the only thing that could be of use is review on mileage but the writer failed to give a definitive figure.

I purchased Petrol version of this car of silky silver shade which is readily available. Waiting period is maximum in case of Copper Orange shade. And waiting period is greater in case of Diesel variant.
As far as update on this review is concerned I would say if you have around 4.5 lac Rs budget... and want to buy a compact car then go for it as it is the best car in the segment and if you can stretch your budget around 5.5 lac then buy its sedan version Dzire as that car is as good as its smaller sibling.Read More

55 liter refrigerator is practically an useless investment. Rs 5700 for 55 liters :O...too much as 165 liters refrigerator starts as low as at Rs. 7000 . It is more an icebox than a true refrigerator.

@ Sanjay-> Truely said sanjay...mileage is very much dependent on driver...I won't say that I'm the best driver but I have a habit of shifting gear at right engine speed..I mostly shift to 4th gear at a speed of 40 kmph and at 50kmph I shift my car to top gear which I suppose is the best time to ...do so and avoid too much of unnecessary acceleration and retardation and as I said that the mileage I received was under worst conditions...11kmpl was when I drove the car at 2nd and 3rd gear and frequent acceleration and braking and I'm confident under best conditions I'll receive 14+ kmpl in city driving and 17+ kmpl mileage in highway driving...on 13th Nov I'll right another review after driving my car another 1000 kms (50% highway and 50% City driving) after getting my car serviced.
Happy driving to you all :-)

Initially I was planning to buy Suzuki SX4 but that was
slightly over budget for me and I decided to buy a car in the range of Rs. 5
Lac. I had Hyundai's Getz Prime, Suzuki's Esteem and Swift. Earlier I had
driven Esteem for almost a year and then I drove Getz Prime for around 5 days
