I was looking out for a entry level sedan that fits into my budget of "5-6" lakhs and did a market research and found out that I have only "Tata Indigo" & "Ford Ikon" to opt for(as Hyundai accent is no more in production).I was waiting to choose the right one.and then I came to know that Maruti would be releasing DZire in the month of March 2008.So, I waited till that time eagerly to see the entry sedan from maruti.I did not like the legacy swift for it's rear looks. Then on 26th of March, the dream car got released in hyderabad.I liked the "Dzire" immediately as soon I visited the showroom for a test drive.Though I am a newbie for car driving, i liked the car because of it's instant pickup and no noise.I don't care much about less rear space as I think it's fine with an entry sedan.I saw various people complaining on the "DZire looks" & "Swift with boot".But they should know that, when the car name itself is "Swift Dzire", the new car would be a swift re-modalled into a sedan.The AC was really good.Mileage, not sure being a newbie.but the showroom guys told me that it gives around 13-15 kmpl in city with AC.So, I booked the Vxi model immediately considering the number of maruti service centers availability and waiting for it .Varun motors in hyderabad had a waiting period of 6 months which is a crap.So, I had a booking at ACER motors who promised that they would deliver the car in 1 to 1.5 months.eagerly waiting for my new car.

The latest information that I have got from my dealer is that maruti will not release any "DZire"s till they announce the price hikes in the month of May(probably 1st week)! Petrol versions will go-up by 10-12k and diesel ones will be 20k!
Now, this is is some crap! It's a cheap trick that maruti is playing now I feel!
There are lot of people who are complaining about Maruti & their dealers attitude!
