It is just product information from the brochure. Nothing insightful. Review does not describe the user's actual experience with the product.

Thank you for your review. I was planning to subscribe to BigFlix. But after going over your review and some others out here, I'm not going to try this service anymore.

Thanks for your review Anand. I faced a similar set of problems with my dv6000 laptop. Here is a link to my review: http://www.mouthshut.com/revi ew/HP_dv6000-147294-1.html I see a note at the end of your review - that HP finally fixed it for you. I’m wondering how you were able to get it res...olved? The HP customer care is driving me crazy - making me call back several times, having poor knowledge and lots of arrogance.Read More

Mitul, Well, I am a student at IIT Bombay and have used Reliance for the past several months on the campus at Powai. You can know more about me here: http://www.it.iitb.ac.in/~roshan Firstly, you ought to have some courtesy before you make any such allegations. Your comment comes out as out...right rude. You might have some experience with the service, in some part of the city. I experience it in another - IIT Campus. Just because you experienced it in one way, doesn't mean I cannot have a different experience. I have studied GSM and CDMA technologies as a part of a Master's course in IIT. It is with this understanding that I realize how bandwidth and number-of-users can be traded off in a CDMA network. Frankly, I could as well, make allegations that you are an employee of Reliance :) If you have any comments about the service feel free to. But please don't make any such baseless personal allegations. -Roshan (RoamingPanda)Read More

The marketing and promotional messages that you get from airtel is really irritating. Customers usually get a few messages every day. That sucks! It only serves to tarnish Airtel's identity in the service sector.

Thought I would add some of my thoughts in here.. 1. Ive had a great deal of confusion myself over what laptop to buy. Esp after spending a substantial amount of money on the system, a customer expects a certain quality of product engineering and customer service. 2. There is a probabilistic ...failure rate to every product that is manufactured in the technology sector. One unit in a few thousand is bound to be flawed. Thats the fundamental nature of engineering. So you could be one of the unlucky few whose machine had a problem. 3. In such a scenario, 'post-sales customer service' becomes extremely important from the perspective of customer satisfaction. Here is where most companies suck! Ive heard stories of pathetic customer service from IBM, HP and others too. Bhargavi has appropriately highlighted this point here. 4. Another reason i certainly feel is - The indian legislation does not provide enough backing to address customer woes. Could IBM afford to treat a US based customer this way ? Can a customer in India contemplate about sueing IBM :) ? Read More
