As a matter of fact, I've been thinking about buying a SLR.. and the ones which come inside my budget are Nikon FM10, Vivitar 3600, Vivitar 3800. Among all these manual SLR's.. i'm more leaned towards the Nikon, as the brand is superb for its film SLR systems, and moreover, just one lens mount... I've been using Asianet DataLine for the past 2 years and I've not felt that ADL is so great in their performance. I am not sure whether ADL has any region specific or location specific downtime. Here, the down time goes to around 1 hour everyday. I'm sick of its speed during peak hours.
