Definitely a good choice. Review on Nokia 1100

This is my first review and I thought I could better start off with something that I like very much. This model from Nokia is really really a good choice for anyone who is not having a big budget over his/her cellphone. When I bought this model, it cost around 5000/-.

All the functions in 1100 is similar to 3310, and you can hardly see few changes from the normal 3310 in case of the menu. However some tiny functions are missing and few others are present.

The best newly added function according to me is in the sending options. You can only find send and send to many in many Nokia models including the big bro seller 3310. 1100 gives you a unique send to list option by which you can send to 10 different person with a single button press. So no more accidental messaging as send to many option does not ask for a confirmation.

The flashlight at the top of the 1100 is good. It gives enough light during night time but it quickly drains out battery charge. The flashlight can be used using the cancel key or through menu function.

The second best thing I must tell you is that the superb battery performance. I got an original Finland battery and it really rocks. I do get 1 & 1/2 days if excessively used, 3 with medium usage and around 4 days without much use. The charging time is also very less.

If you do have the habit of enabling the delivery reports, you would normally get sick if you are to use a 3310 or any similar set once you use 1100. The delivery reports do not come as an sms but rather as an info note popping up ''Message delivered to xxx''. So no more inbox jamming.

I couldn't find the voice tag function in 1100, that is the only function I couldn't find in 1100 which is available in 3310.

1100 is not compatible with blink messages, but 3310 is. That's one sick cons.
