Low budget High End Phone. Review on Nokia 3200

I took Nokia 3200 about a month ago, and I was using Nokia 1100 till then. This mobile phone is truly a remarkable unique handset from the world class mobile phone manufacturers, except that this one can be well inside your budget even when the features are richie type.

The mobile phone is quite handy is the same size of the earlier Nokia Models 2100 and 5210. However, I personally feel that this one is a little more lighter than those two.

The phone features a rich colour matrix display, and ofcourse with an integrated VGA camera which can take pics of the resolution 352x288. I was really amazed by the quality of the pics when I saw it in a Samsung monitor, but a bit depressed when I saw it in my home computer monitor Philips 104S.

So the quality of the image taken by the 3200 is quite good, and you can easily that by transferring your images to a good monitor like sony or Samsung. Monitor caliberation do play a significant role if you intend to test the image quality in a computer monitor. So be careful before you spread wrong words about the quality of the integrated VGA camera of 3200.

I guess Nokia released this model with the intention of re-taking its domain in the mobile market when Samsung hiked up in colour display sales. The phone features high end technologies like the Class 10 GPRS, EDGE technology, is equipped with an xHTML browser, and can play 16 simultaneous notes.

Nokia 7250 model features the same camera, but do cost more than a good new Nokia 3200. Still the 7250 can play only 4 simulataneous notes in a ringtone, where your 3200 can play 16. This do make a difference if you analyse the tones. :)

If the idea of integrating a flash light has amazed you when they introduced the 1100, you are going to love this phone even more because the 3200 comes with a similar flash light, but this time twice more powerful.

The phone features a dynamically allocated memory pool of 1MB which should be sufficient for your normal usage. However the maximum number of sms you can store in your mobile alone is 50. That is rather weird as you can store even more number of multimedia messages in your multimedia inbox. The battery life can't be said as too good, but it is ok than many other similar colour mobile phones. If you compare its battery performance with its competing models such as Motorola c550, you wouldn't mind taking this one.

You can make your own custom covers for the 3200 phone, and I was glad that I got the cutter along with the set. Check whether they have included the cutter. Not everyone gets that. :>

Overall, this is a really cool mobile phone with plenty of smart phone features for low budget. Now you should be able to get this phone for 7000/- with one year warranty and 2 years insurance from an authorised dealer.
