Hi Buddy. I am not used to write negative comments. I used to skip product listings on which I can only find negative traits. Asianet Data Line is one service I dislike very much now. Believe it guys, in the long run, you will understand that there is no worst ISP than this.
I have been using Asianet Data Line for the last two years, and I've not experienced any sort of speed boost from their side. Ok very fine, if their stand is consistency. Then if that is the case, they are obliged to provide a constant speed. I only get around 7-8Kb/s at the maximum, and above all that a complete loss of connection for around approximately 1/2-1 hour daily. I never get any speed above 4-5KB/s during peak hours.
Also their customer service is very poor. If you ask them any technical questions, they will simply find a way to skip that question. Also they are not at all customer friendly.
I'm having a regular homenet connection scheme of Asianet Data Line and they are supposed to provide me with 24 hours connection for Rs. 925/- per month. I wasn't getting any net connection for the last 90 hours, and I must admit that it happened to be a city wide problem. However, they reestablished the connection to some areas within 3 hours, but to some others only after 90 hours. You guys know that is not an acceptable time gap between two places inside the same city. When I called up customer service, they disconnected the phone, more than twice.
Moreover, they send the bills so late. The invoice date would be normally around 15 days back, and will reach you the day before the last day or the same day to pay the bill, otherwise they will simply disconnect your service. I complained this to them, but still no change.
Alltogether, a crappy service, with its prime and all one moto ''Cheat and Earn''. I'm going to find a better ISP, something like Siti Cable.
