As per their own website, debit card does have annual charges after first year. One of the biggest con is that app is incompatible with many phones and lists of incompatible phones is always changing so you can get locked out of your account anytime, as they don't even have a website. It fails for a lot of people. Failure rate is quite high esp. amongst seniors. They should allow verification through other documents like other banks. Besides, Aadhaar is a dangerous tool, and a serious privacy and security risk.

Sorry, but when someone makes such an outlandish statement (Airtel being the best operator), I simply couldn't resist rating it. LOL! From FUPs to Net Neutrality violations to ad injection, to outright cheating, Airtel is best at it all.

It's not about post or pre. Similar issues here on pre paid. Totally unreliable. It was unusable in Bombay. Such operators should not have license to operate. Blame the government more for this situation. Even other networks esp. Telenor have declined.

This is just one of their methods. They have myriad innovative ways of looting, and they are doing it on a grand scale. Govt & TRAI are looking the other way because I'm sure that's a source of party funds or whatever... Besides spectrum fees that is.

Tata Docomo definitely cheats. But in my experience, its Airtel that is the biggest cheater... and probably the trendsetter of the various ways in which telcos cheat. We can only do our bit and hope. TRAI claims that they may fine operators who don't meet minimum quality standards. And Docomo is definitely way below any sane quality standard. They have an Android app for the survey too.

Similar experience with Docomo. Howerver, their rates are significantly lower as of now. Docomo network is way inferior than Uninor in Pune at least. Uninor is easily as good as Idea, Voda, if not better, and tariffs are way lower than Idea/Voda. Maybe even lower than Tata Docomo. Finally, they refunded the amount. From 26/11/13 (order placed) to 20/12/13 (refunded), it took all of 24 days. Not to mention the time wasted on the whole matter (how does one claim a refund for that?). And still without the product which was needed urgently. Snapdeal should take better care about ...the kind of sellers they have and what they ship, else buying stuff online is something most customers will avoid. The small (usually) amount saved is not worth this much trouble. A better seller ranking/reviewing system (more like eBay) is very much needed.Read More

@vjain, indeed, now will be very wary about online purchases. In this case, this model was not readily available at 3 - 4 dealers we checked at. Also the quote was bit higher. Also time is an issue for offline purchases. Hence fell into their trap. :(
