I'm repenting for my hasty decision of getting Aqua Sure Elegant RO. The sales Rep was boasting very high, 8 ltr capacity, need not change filters for 3 years, single button auto flush etc., while it was clearly written that it has only 6 ltrs capacity, that was my first hint to step back, but m...Read more

Hi Sunil, sorry for delayed response. I had actually forgot to mention about the drive with pillion seated. Light weighted pillions upto 55Kgs is not a problem, your bike will be as smooth as drivign alone, the problem comes when you have a pillion driver of more than 70 Kgs, you can feel the bike s...truggling (though not too hard) to gain the momentum. Also the bike being light weighted, you can very much feel the bike quite (very little) imbalanced at turnings, which is not felt when you drive alone. I dont think this as a drawback as major of the times I drive alone, and if at all I have to drive with a pillion driver, I dotn speed more than 45-50, durign which the drive is smooth. Also a small note to the owners of Disco 150, the bike though has a wider tyre, be cautious when drivign in a rain over a smooth surface. Usually you find the cement/concrete roads very smooth at certain places, be very cautious over such places adn dont even dare to take a turn/ bend abve 15 kmph, you are going to SKID !!!! . This was my personal experience, when I was about to park my bike in the first floor of multilevel parking lot, the entrance was nicely smoothened with fine cement, and adding to that, it was raining. I fell down, though I dint get hurt, and neither did my bike, except teh stand got scratched a bit, but it was a good lesson learnt. I am not sure if same is the problem with other bikes too, coz rain and smooth surfaces are enough to skid the bike.Read More

I have done 1200 KM over my new disco 150 and it has met my expectations from the perspective of mileage, performance, pickup etc., As you might be more interested in knowing the drawbacks of Disco 150, here is a brief list of them that I had faced durign my drive. 1) Harder Seat : The sea...Read more

Now if you fell the neagtives I have listed are very minor or negligible, then dont have a second though and go for Disco 150. But if you are not very much concerned about shelling out 5-10 K more, and if you want a more robust bike, then you can go with other bikes like Shine or hunk or what ever. ... If you are a daily commuter with a daily travelling distance of 30-40 Kms, and if you are concerned about mileage adn money, then go for Disco. --Regards, Shrinivas. (Disco 150 owner :) )Read More

For all those who are in a dilemma to go with Discover150. I have done 1200 KM over my new disco 150 and it has met my expectations from the perspective of mileage, performance, pickup etc., As you might be more interested in knowing the drawbacks of Disco 150, here is a brief list of the...m that I had faced durign my drive. 1) Harder Seat : The seat is quite harder and I some what dont feel comfy as I do in HH or Honda bikes. I guess it is quite predominant in bajaj bikes. 2) Many a times when I reach 50kmph I feel like the bike is not smooth, I dotn feel that grip b/w engine and gear. I'm afraid if this is the situation at 50 then what should I expect if I go at 60-70. Since I am done wiht just 1 free service, may be the bike might get adjusted after the 2nd service. (Lets hope so), but if you drive b/w 40-50, its quite smooth. 3) Fittings are not that perfect. though minor, I feel the fittings used are not that good. 4) The last and the worst drawback is the service. Make sure you get ur bike serviced at well experienced bike mechanic (authorised). I had a bad experience at Khivraj, Banaswadi branch, I had to vist them thrice for just having my idling set. Really worst, I heard it is similar at every place in bangalore (not pretty much sure). Now that you are aware of the problems, then is the Positives of the bike, 1) Good mileage, I get around 62 KMPL, initially it was about 65, my expectations are at least 60 KMPL, but to get this mileage, give proper and smooth accelerations, and use Gears appropriately. 2) Good pick up 3) Good Performance 4) Good road Grip 5) You can cross a speed braker in bangalore with ur bike engaged in 5th gear (speed was around 25-28 kmph), and you can raise the speed smoothly though you are travelling at 15-18kmph in 4th Gear. I liked the gear ratio. Now if you fell the neagtives I have listed are very minor or negligible, then dont have a second though and go for Disco 150. But if you are not verRead More

The review was a (copy paste )X4. Would have been more useful had u let us know much more in the same text size :). However teh bike Specs seem to be good and teh Alloy wheels make the bike more attractive. The concept of 5 Gear is going to promise you good mileage on long trips / traffic free highw...ays. The cost of 45000, is some what lil bit hitching, 100CC generally ranges to 40000 (of course not all), but still..... this price makes the buyer to think over to grab a 125 or 135 CC bike with a lil bit of cost compromise. The cost, analog meters and drum brakes are stopping me from gulping down this bike. Else the bike is good, lookwise, 5 Gears, length of bike, etc etc.,Read More
