Hi, I bought bajaj discover 150 on 11th july 2010. I was very convenced by the reviews written in different web sites. although the bike is new, I made the gamble and I feel that it is my wrong decision.
first I would like to tell u my bed experience of the dealer named "Bhavani auto center" located at chandkheda Ahmedabad. after a 2 months long waiting period, I was delivered the bike. on 8th july the bike was delivered to the another customer which one I choose.i told him to gave my booking amount back but still he was not felt sorry even for a moment.but I was also helpless because of the shortage of bikes in the city. and I have to buy the bike from the same dealer.
now come to the bike. from the first day I realise that my decision is wrong. although 150cc power I feel that I am driving a cart. the driving experience is like horrible. I don't know I feel that whenever I drive the bike, after a ride I feel headache, nausea and vomiting. after 5 or 10 km of riding bed smell come out from the engine. from 1st to 4th gear bike vibrates a lot. and we can not feel the racing power. on 5th gear, above 55km speed bike vibrates again.
when I told the mechanic about the bed smell and vibration problem he told me that after 1000 km riding the engine would became smooth and both the problems would disappear.
But what about first 1000km? people buy new bike to impress friends and families. but because of these problems I feel ashamed to project my bike to others. but still I hope that is will be true that the mechanics told about these problems.
