He looked like someone who had experienced life widely. He looked like someone who was never ‘provided’ anything easy, who had to ‘earn’ ever...Read more

Decisions of Life and Death

Dec 25, 2008 07:10 PM General 494 Views

(Updated Dec 25, 2008 07:11 PM)

I've been blessed to have a safe and secured life. What I love about being a human being is that we love contradictions. If I am in a difficult situation, I crave for an easy one. But, the same is true for the other way round. Being in an easy way of life, I want to take enough risks to make things ...Read more

I've lived in India since childhood. Thats 29 years of my life. Being born in a Gujarati family, I've been pampered with so much love and care from the family. To the extent that I was not allowed to do anything wrong. Each decision of mine was modified by the elders so that I don't go wrong. Now th...Read more

If I am lucky today, I'll be able to give a lift to someone in need. I'll be able to help someone cross the road. I'll be able to carry a few bags for someone who can't. I'll be able to see beauty in everything around me. If I am lucky today, Seeing a dead person will remind me, that I too shall...Read more

Necessities and Splurges

I read an article on the web today. I was in tears reading it. It was about a family in South India who have to work really hard to earn enough, so that they can have 2 meals a day. It was an eye opener for me to understand the importance of money. I mean, ofcourse, we all understand the importan...Read more

Dare to Dream

Life is incomplete without a dream. I am what I am today, because of my dream. Most people don't dream big. Few don't have a dream at all. Very few make it big in life and these are the people who dream big. Most of us continue to do what we are doing everyday without any focus. Even if we wan...Read more

I sometimes wonder, with terrified visions, about where the humanity is headed? We - Human Beings, as we are called. We all are trapped in the so called basics of life. I was treated in a similar way during my trip to Bangkok from Mumbai and return. inside the flight, they were treating us like we are slaves. As if all the flight staff was meant only for the first and business class. I had to ask 3 times for drinking water before it was actually given to me. 2 Air ...hostesses and the stewart were so rude, for no reason at all. You are quite right in guessing, that they might not have got their salaries!!! The plane was also a total turn down. Our LCD monitors were not working and they didn't even apologize nor did any parallel arrangements and on top of that, were rude when we complained about it. Also, they were more interested in getting donations for UNICEF than to serve drinking water to me. To hell with Cathay Pacific. I will never travel again with them.Read More

Very Rare Being in our country, its rare to find such bravery to the extent of putting such thoughts in an online diary. You can be whatever you want to - I salute your spirit of being a woman. Be happy - the way you are. I love you the way you are.

I had gone to enquire about their weight loss programme. And as you rightly mentioned, they just want your money. They've suggested me to take a package which costs around 17K - to loose 4 - 5 kgs. Thats too much. And they are not even giving any kind of guarantee. I had felt that they are too cunni...ng. And so I read your review about VLCC. And thank God I haven't taken the admission yet. Thanks a lot for your review.Read More

Everyone's talking about it. My wife's a hardcore SRK fan. And she's already upset about everyone comparing SRK with Mr. B. She'll like this review for sure. And as usual I'm looking forward for your next review!
