I am overweight and wanted to loose weight badly so as my mom. It was then that we came to know about vlcc. VlCC ( VANDANA LUTHRA'S CURLS AND CURVES). I had heard about it and was famous in its own way. we used to get regular weekly pamplets in our newspaper(times of india) regarding their weight loss programe. The ad is misleading .. but we came to know about that later. I then decided to go to our nearest VLCC centre with my mom, as I live in mumbai.. our nearest vlcc clinic is situated at PRABHADEVI NEXT TO NEW PASSPORT OFFICE. when we went and saw the building.. it was really huge with 2 floor. they had aquired the whole building. We entered, and the receptionaist gave us a register form to fill. we filled it. then the dietician ( Smita) took us to the 1st floor where the slimming procedures AND WEIGHTLOSS SESSIONS are carried out. She took my mom's and mine B.M.R, B.M.I, FAT %, BODY WATER, WEIGHT AND HEIGHT etc. she then took us both to a consulting room.
Smita told me that I needed to loose around 12 to 13 kgs, my mom also was suggested to loose 10 to 12 kgs. The vlcc staff was the worst , they had no sense on how to advise the customers on packages, they are cunning and just wanted to take out money, BUT WE WERE KEPT IN DARK THROUGH OUT!!. the total package that they took out for me and my mom was around Rs. 70, 000/-. I was shocked but I really had to loose weight so as my mom. We decided to pay half- half amount , that is 34 thousand b4 (starting of the month jan) and 34 thousand at the end of the month. We were told that some german appliances would be put on our body and there would be vibrators which would work towards our weight loss. there was a doctor too..i dont want to mention her name but she was telling me to loose weight coz then I would have futher obesity problem ..but HELLO!! WHAT ABOUT YOU: SHE WAS FAT LIKE HELL!! DOESNT SHE HAVE ANY HEART PROBLEMS OR OBESITY PROBLEMS!!( THEY SHOULDNT KEEP SUCH FAT PEOPLE OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE HARD FOR US TO GET MOTIVATED!!).. GOD I AM WAY SLIMMER THAN HER.
There would be three sessions a week , each session we had to come and weigh the b4 weight and then after the session weigh the after weight. the session would be of two hours!!. you would loose around 300-600 gms per session. ON OUR FIRST SESSION.. THEY WERE ALSO TRYING TO FORCE MY MOM TO BUY PRODUCTS OF UNDEREYE GEL AND OTHER PRODUCTS..BUT LUCKILY MY MOM AND ME DIDNT BUY ANYTHING!!. WE GOT SAVED.
(VLCC WEIGHTLOSS PROGRAM WAS SIMILAR TO THE SAUNA BELT AD WHICH WE SEE ON TV CAUSE YOU WOULD LOOSE WEIGHT ON THE SPOT).
I thought it would be worth it. but what I expected didnt turn out! .. they told me to follow a certan diet come and also do 1 hr jogging, climb staircases thrice three times a day and do free hand exercises but the ad of VLCC did not mention this, and if I had to do exercises why should I go to the clinic and waste my TIME WITH THOSE GERMAN VIBRATORS ON MY BODY!!!).
During the 3rd session they checked my b4 weight and theN after the weightloss session(vibrators)..they checked my after wt ( I didnt loose any weight).. then they gave me lime water to drink, then smita told me to show her wht free exercises i do ( this was a mistake..she was looking at a client with a DOUBT!!! as if I was not doing what I was told just because I didnt loose weight!!(i did ALL EXERCISES)) ...we dont go to vlcc for time pass..this was a cruel treatment and to test my patience).
MY MOM, DURING HER 3RD SESSION..SHE WAS GIVEN A INCH LOSS SESSION( THAT IS STEAM TO THE BODY IS GIVEN TO LOOSE WEIGHT..MY MOM LOST AROUND 500 GMS BUT WHEN WE CAME HOME ..HER WEIGHT WAS THE SAME OF THE B4 WT OF THE SESSION. THIS MEANS THAT VLCC WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM IS JUST A TEMPORARY WEIGHT LOSS.... JUST LIKE THE SAUNA BELT AD THAT COMES ON TV.
ALSO THAT AFTER THE SESSION.. MY MOM GOT A SKIN ALLERGY DUE TO THE VIBRATORS AND ICHING AND BURING SKIN PROBLEM ON HER STOMACH BUT WE DIDNT COMPLAINT AS WE KNEW THEY WOULDNT DO ANYTHING!!. THEY ONLY WANT MONEY..MONEY!!
BECAUSE OF THE ABOVE PROBLEM After one or two weeks WE discontinued vlcc programe, because smita AND OTHERS WERE DUMB PEOPLE AND UNEDUCATED FOOLS, she given us packages of weight loss and inch loss, but you needed only one which aimed at loosing weight. plus we also tried asking them about transfering the package to another package, she said yes first but then turned her back on us BY LIEING. OUR ONLY 30 THOUSAND RS GOT WASTED BUT ATLEAST WE GOT RID OF VLCC .
VlCC IS HORRIBLE AND THE WORST!!!, THEY ONLY KNOW HOW TO TAKE OUT MONEY.
therefore I advise people to not go to vlcc for loosing weight...
*IF U GO TO VLCC YOU R ONLY GOING TO WASTE UR HARD EARNED MONEY WHICH WILL RESULT TO NO WHERE AND ALSO THAT YOU MIGHT GET SKIN PROBLEMS WHICH MIGHT BE HARD TO CURE!!.
* SO DO NOT GO AGAINST NATURE TO LOOSE WEIGHT, ONLY LOOSE WEIGHT WITH THE NATURE AND DONT GET TANGLED WITH FRAUD PEOPLE LIKE VLCC OR ANY OTHERS!!
* SO PLEASE GUYS...DO NOT GO TO VLCC, YOU WILL ONLY GET
