I agree. I also have a flat at the same complex. The quality/ finishes are bad. The worst part is the employess are callous and careless. The attitude is really bad. A really good review.. am looking for a mid size and this review definitely helps.. want to add.. am a great fan of Honda.. but when u r comparing then u must accept that Honda city (New one) is about 4 years old now.. whereas the SX4 is new kid in the block .. anyway, keep writing .. Cheers :) MB

It is strange that the dealers u contacted for DISH TV were not responding, though they will get a percentage of cut from the sales. By the way, have u paid and asked them to install or u just called and waited for them to turn up. Going by the post it looks u waited for them just by making a call. ...While buying the Tata Sky u paid and got installed. In any case, in my case I was away from home, I asked one of my friend to book it with some adv (Rs 500/-) and they installed on the same evening and by the time I was at home it was running. In any case, both the services r quite at par (equally good/bad), I just went for DISH as they were giving 6 months free subscription against 3 mths of Tata Sky. Anyway happy viewing :)Read More

Gr8 that u liked my review.. it is not that I have a lot of trouble with my car (already 6 years old), but the small issues always being pointed out by the service centres, which u can't ignore, as u r not sure whether actually it needs replacement. Like once my car lock was not funct...ioning and they forced me to change saying the earlier one can't be repaired. But after an year the lock on the other door also stoped working similarly and I got it repaired at Rs100 at a local garage.. similarly during the July 2005 flood in mumbai the floor mat of my car got wet, and it needed servicing, basically drying and relaying.. Hyundai service centres asked for a bomb,w hile the local guy did it for Rs 250/-.. wheel balancing itself costs almost twice the rate of outside vendors... the list goes on.. luckily my car avg is now again is back to about 12-12.5 in city condition.. :)Read More

Chikku alias Mr Pavan Reddy is an employee of Club Mahindra, which I figured out today only. I happened to interacted with him and almost got a membership myself.. luckily wisdom prevailed and I cancelled my booking on time. Anyway cheers :)

Can't help but to agree to ur experiences abt Air-Deccan.. I also would like to advise other people if tickets r avlbl at slightly higher price with other airlines better skip the Chepa airlines like Air-Deccan and Indigo and be safe and have a comfortable journey.. anyway keep writing :))

1.5 lacs, interest cost per annum is about 15000, which is more than 2000 per day(15000/7). plus the maintenance charges of 7000 per year now.. which about 1k per day.. thus total is about 3000.. also ur principal amount is getting eroded by approx about 6k per year.. so add another 1k to the above ...figure.. which makes it 4k per day.. add to it the the time restrictions/ location restrictions etc.. hope u got it..
pls note the value of ur time share getting appreciated to 2.5 lacs is notional.. actually end of the period u will not get anything back.. anyway, if u r happy and enjoying .. it beats all other aspects even plain maths.. wish u a very happy new yearRead More

In fact most of the people wud love to stay in a comfortable hotel and not in a luxury hotel and pay thru the nose. That was indeed a great piece of info for regular and budget traveller.

Club Mahindra people r looting like anything. The very fact that each day of Holiday costs more than 5000 should put u off from getting into their membership. The other big reason is that though u were suppose to get the reservation during red period, u'll have to book many months in advance (3-6 mo...nths), which is not possible for many like us who are too busy in our offices and businesses and normally finalise our vacation only about a month before at most. By then if u contact those guys, they will simply say their properties r full. The biggest fun is that though they says their properties r full , sometimes they are available for non-members ready to pay cash.. wat a double standards.. anyway, they should gurantee the Red season holders a room even if someone books 15 days in advance else they should organise a 4*/5* properties on their own. They normally provides acco only if ther's no demand fron cash customers. That is really bad considering that it is from a very reputed organisation like Mahindras. They should u'stand that it is people's hard earned money and if they can't give satisfactory and guranteed service they should return their hard earned moneyRead More

Ketan, when we were there it was post Diwali, so there was no snow, but the peaks all around are white and really looks beautiful. The beas is an integral part of the beauty of the place, and ur travel is always along it from K...ullu to Manali and beyond to Rohtang. Snow is only there in Rohtang, but Normaly by Decemeber end it snows even in the main Manali area and the roads r covered in Snow till January atleast and sometime even in February. Normally that the period between Apr-June is the peak season as school are closed and people from all over India, mostly from North fills the place. I will advise u not to go there at that time as it looks more like Chandni Market in Delhi than a hill station. It is better to be there in off-season, and it is beneficial economically too :))
The view from the aircraft was really interesting as initially u got to hover above a lot of Hilly area, which are dry and is not a regular view one gets to see. The Kullu valley where the aircraft lands is almost landlocked by hills surrounding it. Anyway, life is slow and simple out there, so u better enjoy the same while there, don't waste time in shopping etc.. :))Read More

I used to travel a lot earlier in Jet and collected good amount of points. When I finally wanted to use those, even in the leanest period of May, they don't wanted to issue the free tickets (BLR-MUM). Finally I had to book a ticket on the oddest hrs as per their convenience only to figure out that t...he earlier flights are only half full. Now I have stopped using their flights as far as possible. It is better to save money upfront and buy tickets cash when u need rather than baging for free tickets, which as per them is our right. Jet should change their mentality else people will shift to other airlines like I have done already.Read More
