Sad airlines one could ever think of taking. Review on Simplifly Deccan

Air Deccan is the cheapest domestic airlines available in India, but the sad part is the service is as good as the govt. road transport (bus services) in any small town.......(generally they suck). With air deccan their is no security of your luggage & I feel that they scan your baggage before you board the flight to see if their is anything to steal from your baggage. The staff with air-deccan seems to be under-paid hence they are very very rude with the costemer. I was not getting tickets to go back home from kovalam to sikkim so had to take a flight from trivandrum to calcutta and then calcutta to bagdogra as there was no airlines tickets available i had to take air deccan. Website is smooth running and ticketing through website is comfortable experience. But remember any mistake while ticketing and you will be charge hefty sum to change info.

But remember any mistake while ticketing and you will be charge hefty sum to change info. Departure Airport Services(Checkin counter and departure ) has Poor service . Very less attendent to manage stuff.  Also, not even listen to request for aisle seat even I was among the first one to checkin.  Also, they ferry you to plane in crowded bus. They took the farthest possible parking for airplane , so need to travel in crowded bus for almost 10-15 mins.  Also, extreme delays in flights which is very regular. extreme annoyance. You may end up waste a whole day if you booked from air-deccan.

Its more like a bus you need to run for seats as if you more than 2 people and you don't run you end up sitting seperately.. its happened twice with me and my husband.In flight service has Flight attendents who are very poor to response and don’t behave properly. They are from airline institue or may be hotel management background but they leave all what is taught to them in their locker rooms.... they behave rudely thinking they giving us cheap air tickets but they don't realise they get paid only when we use their service and if their rude behaviour continuies who will travel with them??? as now Kingfisher, Indigo etc have staterd. Food is to buy but of nice quality. and sometime they don't even carry sufficent food for the passengers. if you seated in last sometimes you won't even get food.

Main is  Water is not free which is in contrast of indigo which runs on same line of deccan but gives free water. Arrival service is for us to wait long for baggage claim. and bagagge missing or delayed is very common. Overall, its a cheap airline but thats all it is. Don’t expect much from it. Also, flight delay and cancellation is the biggest and consistent issue. I will never fly with air deccan as cheap things are cheap and its better to be safe & secure, rather than being troubled and unsure.   I would advise my fellow country men to travel by air deccan keeping in mind that its a 3rd grade bus service that flies.
