Swift and Polo are the best ...However i would to warn u about the Maruti Swift ...the built is very poor , im personally own this car in vxi model and im not satisfied with its built ...ya performance wise, handling and mileage swift Rocks ...it accelerates too fast that no other can beat it ...If ...u r daily runner ,must go for Vdi else go for Vxi ... I have running of 1Lac Km in 10 years so petrol is gud for me .But if ur running is 1Lac in 4-7 years ,must go for vdi . However the engine in both the cases is 4 cylinder and 16 walves so recommend Swift for its engine performance otherwise for best exterior and interior quality ,go for other like Polo..Polo has 3 cylinders and its 75bhp so can't beat swift but in many other features,Polo rules over Swift.
Regarding airbags , i don't recommend airbags due to indian road conditions however ABS can be helpful to u . Actually i like to tell u that the manufacture during the delivery always provide the features at lower cost ..if u r paying 25k for any feature,means u r paying the half othat will cost Rs.50,000 if u go for additional fitting. Also i20 provides safety features but airbags only meant for the highway running cars with no divider in b/w the two way ie on one way highway.

Yes guyz...i20 has better leg room but driving pleasure , handling and engine power is much better in SWIFT than i20 .. Now if compared it with MICRA -nissan and Polo-Volkswagon , SWIFT has only Power engine performance and Height of looks but luxurious interiors are lack in SWIFT compared to othe...r Brands.. So repeatedly i'm saying ,the guyz who preferred Power Engine should go wid SWIFT and those preferred Luxurious interiors n other comforts can adopt other Brands but 1 thing i would like to tell u is that Currently on Swift is providing good engines-Paisa Vasool Engines!!!!!!!!!!

Now currently , im holding Maruti Swift Owner's Manual & Service Booklet
;First Two services are free and only Inspection will be made, no labour charges , ZERO amount billed , but in 3rd Service (10000kms)only engine oil will be changed and it costs Rs.1000 if synthetic Oil is used ,Semi synthetic... less and Normal oil that are being used are even cost less .
But if compared to first free inspection service(1000km or 1 month which ever comes first) the deisel costs more ,and in Second Service (5000kms or 6 months whichever comes first ) also diesel costs more than Petrol's maintainance . In each free inspection Service ,oil is Being changed in Diesel so maintaince cost is more but VXi have no cost ,only 3rd service requires oil Change cost .
Afterwards ,a year later, periodic Maintainance at Cost for Diesel is more and in VXi ,only Brake Fluid ,transmission oil Level and filters will checked and replace (not a filter) . The service will be paid in this period .
Normal Service charges after free services approx Rs.1800 (Rs.500-800 service labour charges)according to odometer reading and distance covered per year .Read More

sunny29584 , The price varies city to city , state to state so in your city the Price including tax(on road) can be 5.18 . In our city , Swift vxi original price was 4.5 lacs and on road approx 4.75 or 4.8lacs we get (excluding EMI Interest). In Banglore the vehicle price is 4.8 i think and tax pric...e is more than ours so u getting it in 5.18 ...Its SWIFT Vxi Middle Model Swift Silky Silver Mettalic Colour with 4 power windows ,wheel caps ,warning indicators 14 inch tyres ,fully central locking which Lxi doesn't have . So im sure that i have bought Vxi model buddy :)Read More

in First service, Normal Checkup & inspection is made so no Charges
I think from 2nd service only Engine oil will be changed and from 3rd i think every oil will required to change . The Service Manual has given already but i don't remember but yes except Labour Cha...rge of Rs700/- everything will be Paid coz Free service is resembled with Free Labour Charges,not overall Charges...Read More

Yes, deifinitely U-Va is good one but if we compared with the swift sale economy ,U-VA lags behind.. also the new Swift with k-series engine has better performance ,power ,turning radius and handling than U-VA .U-va is 80bhp and Swift is 84 bhp @5200rpm ...Also Swift gives full average with A.C. on ...Highway at speed of 80 and max of 2500 rpm @ 5th gear . So if compared it with U-VA , swift is little much better...BEAT is much Better than U-VA and auto experts praise for it ..Built quality may be better ,difintely!!!Read More

well ..Congrates for ur purchase ! Ya it is much stable @ higher speeds on Highways n acceleration shift is very much sensitive to ur command ..i appreciate bt r u sure if it is giving 18+ mileage and that will b 1.3lt engine ? i get approx. 17kmpl mileage on my New swift with A.C. even w/o 1st free... service . i Know very much responsive bt 18+ ...if its so ..then wow ....i will get it too on my New Swift 1.2lt :)Read More

MidClassIndian , im nt agree wid ur comments ... Maruti has nt just implemented the K-series engine in New swift but also implemented a better interior ,better NVH( noise ,vibration and harshness) and better Suspensions .. Wire lining has been improved according to the engine requirement and there's... just a loss of 3 PS if reduced from 1.3 to 1.2L . 1.2L with fuel economy and 84BHP power has been implemented thats why cost is adjusted in these implementations .Read More

hey ! first look up at my review ... u’ll get ur answers from there ...New swift 1.2L in 2010 manufacturing has now come with BS-4 cmplt and K-series engine from Maruti Suzuki considered to b the Best among all 1.2L cars ...Im own having Vxi But it is excellent choice of ur’s to have a car with Safe... n Security features like ABS n Airbags . I would like to let u knw tht the Swift is considered in Segement B cars n i10 in Segement A ..i10 comes on the second option followed by the Swift . More stability - Swift ,Driving Pleasure- Swift , after sale service -SWift , big tyres -Swift ,powerful engine in overtaking -Swift but if budget doesn’t allow to go for Swift then naturally ,i10 the alternate option listed .i have tested stability n handling @ 150km/hr approx. 4500rpm on highway ...simply awesome ! Max rpm when the car is new goes to 5200rpm according to tachometer and speed approx 160km/hr(not tested yet) ..Both i10 and Swift gives -18KMPL mileage on highway ....so what have u made the mind upon -New Swift 1.2 or i10 kappa ?

hello rajesh, well i would like to answer some of ur comments posted by viewers.
sri_gopal asked the difference b/w passion pluss n splendour+....well there is a very little diff in passion pluss 100 cc n splendour plus 100cc. Both r not exactly 100 cc but there other specification are also similar... like Displacement & max. power. U know when i visited HH showroom @ chandigarh i ve pointed out one question ie. Why so much diff. in cost b/w splendour+ n passion+ ? what is the difference b/w these twos ? before they answer me one of the executive sales man asked me a ques'what makes u it different from splendour, sir ?' i ve no answer except the one:-'the gr8 look which is making it a stylish one and kerb weight which makes it capable to turn sharply; the steady weight.' Then why r u asking me a question ,sir ? he said. He said the top selling bike even the splendour in the current date is Passion+.The byk for youth ;) isnt it ?
aadi007.....its true 2 say Plus plus everywhere whether its rear look or front look. The crystal look big rounded shaped red back light covers the upper tail of the rear look which makes it determined to other motorbikes. and front look also not bad as compared to splendour+. curved bent seat not a flat seat and length 1980mm hylyted it Plus.Its modification gives better look than any 100 cc bike; do u agree ?
Pavanrao.......its quite fake inf. provided to u about the mileage of passionPlus. 55+ gives to those riders who drives rashed on the roads, like me :-). Even on its 1st service it started giving me 60 and he is ryt to ve said above 75 but not in a city or in local area. upto 75 is normal on highway or long routes n 75+ for those who make the speed steady in b/w 40-45 km/hr. believe me if u want to go for both look and mileage u should buy PassionPlusRead More

hi, keep writting ur review; really mentioned in a very gud manner..go ahead but before i would like to say that the only 100 cc bike of hero honda or other company providing u the max rpm of 8000 which means 8000 rotations of wheel per minute which makes it different from others bike. U know im a r...ash driver and mostly run the bike overspeed...the national 2 wheeler max speed is 55 km/hr after which it counts to be an overspeed and get challaned by traffic police. Lets come to the point, i appreciate with a low accel of the bike but it picks up when u put the bike on 2nd and third gear. i ve tested and noted the max. speed lift up on 3rd shift is 65 km/hr and 2nd shift makes u fly with the speed of 40-45 km/hr only if u keep it accel for a long time or compel engine to seize..hahahaha:-). so 1st gear is useless but u can make it zooom on rest of the gears. and always remem 1 thing, pick up and accel is diff. thing..pick up means the max. speed km/hr from an initial point and accel means max. of roatations per minute or a specific speed on specific gear to move on with respect to time. I think u r comparing this 100cc bike with other 125 cc and 150 cc bikes so again i ll like to comment on these bikes too . these most of the heavy bikes have same pick up but their accel increases with the increase of the rpm speed and as u move fwd above 100 cc bikes. Afterall these are 150 cc bikes and u know my other friends also ve made a comment for PassionPluss accel with other 100cc 2 wheeler and handling , the best one as comparable to heavy bikes and other 2 wheelers. Finally i would like to say that if there is the bike which is hassel free, long lasting, good looking, better mileage , and gives comfort in all the way....the one should go only for PassionPluss.

The gear transmission is very smooth and there is no vibration even at higher speeds like 85Km/hr.
