My dear friends, it's about time i took notice of this. Sorry for the late response:
Rediff was actually good & as described when i wrote this review - running a beta service at the time but things changed after that hence the disclaimer at the beginning of the review. I still continue to use Red...iff Free Mail services but it's never the same it was when i wrote this - a lot of competitors offer much better services.

Good Review,
I'm with BSNL 2 Mbps connections(5gb limit), speed is reliable - except for some rare downtimes though. I have also noticed that thier CPE (Modem/Router that they provide) is not of good quality - It disconnects from the internet & sometimes provides internet to only one of my computer...s, but a restart fixes all the issues. Moreover works cheap for me (Rs. 1000).
But as said by 'aakshat' the response from BSNL officials when there is a disconnection or downtime is poor !
BTW i recentky subscribed for thier 'IP TV' service, the reception is good. But they have only 92 Channels as i write this comment & most of them are useless :(

You are the very few ppl i know who's opting for a GPRS mobile internet connection instead of a Broadband......
Do you really think that The Best Mobile GPRS service could even give you even half the speed a Basic Broadband connection ?
Is it really economical ?

You see....Shopping online is very time saving & profitable, though there are chances of we getting cheated....
So just do shopping with dealers whom you trust the most ---- Preferably the local dealers in India ...

I completely agree with Soniarun10.....
Despite BSNL's pathetic CS not very far from that of TATA Indicom in reliability, thier service is better than that of TATA or AIRTEL; Not to forget thier very competative & reasonable pricing.
& Hey there are some known firewall problems in Airtel & TATA ...too.
BTW i waited 5+ months to get the DATA ONE Broadband connection in Bangalore(You get it only if you already have a Landline connection - So i have to first get a landline connection & then apply for Broadband).The delay was due to some feasibilty problem - & Not delayed bcoz of thier inaccesability, but bcoz all the slots in our area were full @ that point of time as a result of the huge demand for DATAONE Connections.
But all that was a year ago.
Now i am a happy DATA ONE user despite some downtimes & disconnection !!!!

Your review on the Gr8 Maestro ’’Sivaji Ganeshan’’ - One of the living legends & the best actor of his times was really fabolous !!!
