This is my first car, after I have done lot of analysis almost 10 months finally I brought this car. Always my dream car was swift, but at lost I have brought my Fiat Punto car on May 5th 2012. Why did I buy this car? One thing I clearly decided to buy a diesel car rather than Petrol car, then I have gone for test driving all diesel cars like Swift, I20 old & new model, Punto, Etios Liva, Polo etc.
Swift is a good car (exterior looks, engine) but the problem is again Muruthi is buying engine from Fiat, no Bluetooth feature, body build up quality very bad, price also is higher than Punto (Rs.30, 000) and few small features are missing.
I20 high end model Asta is higher than 1.2 lacs than Punto, no ground clearance, no AC for rear seat & we found few more problems during our testing
Etios Liva is not worth for money.
Polo also is out of my budget .
So finally I decided to take Fiat Punto. Totally my driving experience only 3 weeks which means that I am not a good driver, I started learning driving using my new car, last week I went to my native place almost up and down 1200 KMs from Bangalore. Now I completed 1600 Kms and I got mileage 20 KMs per litre with AC. I have driven all types of roads inside city, high way, double road, single road and mud road. I did not face any problem. if I brought some other car, by this time I would have gone for service center :) because I am using rough and tough.
