Barclay and ABN-Amro cards are reputed cards internationally, but when they come to India everything is handled by Indians and the standards drop drastically.

An acquaintance at my place of work one day asked me if I am interested in making money through a business venture in my off time. He said he is working as an independent entrepreneur (businessman) with a fast expanding business and always looking for people to induct. Naturally I expressed m...Read more

This Birla Sun is exactly similar like Aviva insurance which charges similar exorbitant adminstrative fees from customers. All the multi-national insurance companies are big cheaters. In my case even after the mandatory 3 years lock in period, they charged 20% of the NAV as adminstartion fee and lef...t me with a loss. Read my review on Aviva insurance. Interestingly whenever one posts a bad review of Aviva on this site, several 'excellent' reviews suddenly come up by magic to neutralize the bad review!! You can imagine who is behind this.Read More

Dear friend congragulations on having walked out of being swindled of what is called the Time Share business which is a number one cheating business. You have shown great common sense, in rather putting up with their abusive language and finally not paying up. There are many weak people who end up p...aying lakhs of rupees (under salesman pressure) for a questionable Time Share at a doubtful holiday avenue for the 'luxury' of renting the place a week each year. This business is rampant in Singapore and USA and now I am interested to know it has come to India. But Indians like you and me are more careful with their hard earned money than Americans.Read More

State Bank of India has improved a lot in infrastructure and courtsey and customer service. I use them for my salary account and loans. Being a Government bank they cannot cheat or twist the rules like ICICI or Citibank. However their credit card sucks.

well Mr imgr8, I am not that naive, I had ICICI insurance policy before which I redeemed after 3 years with a decent profit. Although there was an administrative charge in that case it was not blatantly exorbitant as in Aviva.

They havent improved much. Air Deccan is the only airline which prepones the flight and cause agony. I got an SMS at midnight frm Air Deccan that my early morning flight at 8am will start at 6 am. Imagine my agony with family taking them to airport at 4am on short notice.

I used to deal with an investment agency called Bajaj capital. They adviced me to buy Aviva life insurance (I have stopped dealing with them since).
