Despite bad experience like this by so many of us, it continues to thrive. I wonder what kind of reach MS portal has. Mass media never speaks or writes against cos like CM as it's a heavy advertiser. Wonder what's the solution?

This same sales guy's name sounds familiar. I think it is the same guy who mis-sold the cm membership to me. He purposely did not disclose important information. In fact, I later visited CM sales office at one of the malls in Mumbai. I pretended as if I dont know about CM and enquired about it. Even... there, the sales person did not disclose those same vital information. These leads me to beleive me that they are trained to hide vital info because if those are revealed you are unlikely to enrol. A key info always hided by CM sales guy is the fact that you can't book holiday in a superior season more than 15 days in advance. They just keep telling you that you can book six months in advance and you can book in your season (lets say white) and a level superior (Red) and a level Inferior (Blue). When I questioned the mall sales person Whether a white season holder can book in red season six months in advance, he first tried to evade the question, then made a blantant mis-statement that it could be done!Read More

I'd absolutely agree with all the negative comments about 5paisa. I had opened a trading accout with it a few years ago and then had to stop it due to problems with its software. After a few years, I again opened account with it hoping that its software should be robust by now. Re-opened accout desp...ite previous bad experience due to low brokerage. But it turned out to be expensive. Despite written committment, they charged me higher brokerage and did not correct it. Filed a case against them but then dropped it mid-way due to time and efforts involved being not commensurate with the amount involved. Its software is still full of bugs, it does not care for agreed terms, charges at its will without transparency. Customer service numbers are a hell to get connected to.Read More

We too booked thru Shree Ram Tours & Travels, as it was preferred agent of thomas cook, but were sorely disappointed with the service. We had to visit Thomas Cook's fort office to get our processing done despite having an agent in Malad. The agent was giving wrong info to Thomas Cook about us. He ha...d told them that we dont have credit card and hence he got foreign currency issued in our name with entry in our passport without informing us and without our consent. When we complained to thomas cook, the passport entry was cancelled. May be those who are happy with their service do not understand implication of this or they are simply ignorant about these malpractices. The foreign exchange so issued is then sold in black market at premium at our cost. We came to know this, when we wanted TK to issue us foreign currency, but were told that we did not have enought limit.Read More
