THIS Although I have purchased the Laptop and warranty in UK , the same is not applicable in india. SO after buying a 3 year warranty in UK, I am told to go F*** myself in India. Pure Hell, Thanks Dell!

The exact same problem here. I am also idiot enough to buy additional three year warranty after the one year warranty expired. Imagine my shock when I was told that hinge issue is not covered under warranty! So I have to pay additional 10 thousand bucks for a manufacturing defect. UPDATE 2: After false assurances of adjustments in bill, today they are saying that this amount will be adjusted in subsequent bill. No wifi at home till now.

UPDATE: they haven’t called / come to install the service as yet (3 months now). But today I got a bill for that (All at home wifi) service. HAHAHAHA laughing and crying at the same time.

I have given up. I don't care if they install wireless or not. @noellmasters I do not have a choice of providers at my place. The only other option is BSNL!

Oh, thank God i am not alone. Have travelled with Air France and it is the worse airline i have ever travelled. the way they behave with Indians is extremely unprofessional to say the least. What happened to you is not unique, it is a regular happening for Indians, just google it up.
