Thanks for the update. The moral of the story is that we have to do extensive reserach before apporaching any of these idiots. mouthshut and few other sites will help. Most of the service providers lacks committment and tend to take customers for granted.

Surprising! You are lucky. I am using reliance broadband netconnect and I never saw speed exceeeding 30 kbps. I did go for Rs 900+ plan. Average speed i am getting is 3 to 4 kbps..I am staying in Hyderbad- Srinagar colony.. In a months time I will get rid of netconnect as I am not getting ...the desired speed.
