Ultra Sonic Mosquito Repellent

Bought one yesterday. Not sure if it really repells mosquitos as there were none but surely it repelled me ! I can hear the irritating noise it creates while no one else in our family can hear that noise. The noise created by it is audibe to some human although not everyone.
