These people do not know internet/web and that it is their for them to look for the status anytime. I canceled the booking yesterday over phone. Saw the same online. Today I received a mail in the morning that my Booking can not be canceled over mail in response to the query I sent 2 days bac...k!!! Few minutes back I got an SMS saying your flight has been confirmed for Monday and for any queries talk to Emirates AirLine!! Called back.. Richa Agarwal from CustCare responded and confirmed that the booking is canceled. unbelievable... absolute nonsense!Read More

Actually speaking I did not find the online booking system robust enough and I could rely so I really booked through CustCare and IVR. If I had remembered I could have given the name of cust care person who was too lazy in his speaking (i can recognize him easily I talked to him twice) anupama from... custcare is good but she was not available once I booked the ticket. This reveals one fact they have separate teams 1. For new booking (good people with good skills) 2. for existing book (craps) reason is obvious.. they have got their commission who cares now... Plus. Do not go by their promise of Free VISA assistance, I wish I could have paid some agent locally and at least he would have assured me the approval. because of Yatra's insufficient inputs in VISA application my VISA could not get through..
