I was interested to buy one phone from Flipkart, and I had a question for the product which Flipkart REJECTED terming it as "IRRELEVANT QUESTION"(attached below)! So customer queries are now "Irrelevant" for Flipkart? Very well, my intentions to purchase a phone from Flipkart just became "Irrele...Read more

@stshah2 Copper is always better than Aluminum, I think 1.5 ton would be sufficient for your room, and 2-3 star ACs will be cheaper to buy but 5-star ACs are cheaper to run, so buy 5-star AC if your usage will be high, maybe 6-8 hours a day. I have explained everything in the article itself.

@bunnybawa Depends, it would be a good choice if your area has very hot summer and very cold winter.

Excellent review!! Only this part below; I just wish there are no horns in cars, such an annoyance !! :-) 'One Major annoyance was the steering wheel. While the size was fine, the horn does NOT extent to the spokes on the side, as they do on my A-Star, or Swift etc. This meant that I had to... move my hand and consciously press the horn, as compared to the A-Star, where I just have to move my thumb a couple of centimeters.'Read More

@santrox444 @sureshbp6666 CIBIL is a much needed service to control bad loans and to prevent loan & credit cards defaulters to get more loans & cards that they can't pay, this also keeps the borrowing costs down for the consumers. If there is any genuine error in the report, then it is because... of the wrong reporting/updating by your loan/card provider, ask them to send correct report to CIBIL, if they fail, complaint to ombudsman, always works. And you don't even need a CIBIL report yourself, ask the bank/NBFC, they will tell you where the problem is. For the above mentioned problem one should approach Banking Ombudsman, they are fast & free, but why the system need to be closed? For whose benefits, loan defaulters?Read More

Where is quality & attention to details? Still not a reliable player in personal car segment, they should learn from Mahindra.

@neostar78v IFB ACs are relatively new in the market, but IFB is otherwise known for quality products, you can go for it if the price is right, but also check if they have service centers in your city.

Festival lights become fade...

That's economics!! I agree with your notion, but the world doesn't work in that way. If you see the debit side of the P/L account of these Puja committees, you will notice that all the money is eventually going into the hands of the poor artisans, craftsmen, and laborers. Puja is a economic activ...ity that feeds millions of poor people across the country. Now, what if the Puja committees spend the money on the poor directly? Well, they spend some money on some token activities, but that's not the point. Almost all the big Pujas are corporate funded, and Pujas relying on ''chandas'' are of miniscule budgets. Now, these corporates fund the Pujas because they are big and grand and attracts millions of eyeballs, not the other way around. So, if the Pujas are not big and grand, corporate funding will not come, and relatively poor people who make the Pujas possible; will go unemployed. The world is tough but round!! :-DRead More

Man is slave of habit.

Man? is slave of habit !!! First, feminists will be very angry if they see the heading, the word ''man'' seems gender biased!! :-D On topic: Habit is what keeps us carry on with your mundane lives, and habit is what keeps us from breaking the monotony. Most of us live our lives like a habit a...nd die like a habit without even trying once what we can achieve if we break the habit / compulsion and run after that dream. Many of those who are in job keep complaining that this job is not what they want to do in life, still they can't break the habit of a monthly paycheck and go after what they want. Many of the students complain that this is not the field they want to study, but still end up studying that only as job prospects are more there, or should I say they are into the habit of following others opinion. Habit is something that limits ourselves, yet habit is the one that gets us through with the tough life.Read More

@Guestuser342 Don't go for sophisticated inverter ACs for commercial use, waste of money. But consider 5-star rated ACs, since your use will be high, it will save on electricity bill (that too at commercial rates)!! And don't buy anything too cheap, as your use will be high. For commercial use consi...der LG & Voltas from value for money segment, and Hitachi, Bluestar, or Carrier from the premium segment, these are good for commercial use.Read More
