I think this would be one of those rare instances when the review was better than the movie.. You have done a great social service..prevented us hardworking souls from spending moolah on this flick.. sorry buddy..but i just cant agree wth your review. The movie's central message was not that please shoot the defence minister or for that matter any corrupt minister. In fact Sidharth sums it up towards the end when he says that you cannot line up all the politicians in one line and shoot them all.Ul...timately it is up to us to change the system from within.I dont think it is 'shameful' that parallels have been drawn between these charatters and our freedom fighters. What today's India needs is modern day revolutionaries to reform the system.Mohan Bhargav of Swades took another path but even his motive is the same.Similarly, i dont think that we must be prejudiced towards the characters just because they drink, smoke etc....i think a vast majority of odays youth do that today, this movie just tries to capture that via its protagonists. And regarding masala elements..please show me one item song or unwanted song. The screenplay was scratchy in parts and there were other flaws with the movie, definitely. Please try and absorb what the movie tries to convey and not just the surface meaning.Unless you look deep you will never be able to appreciate the message of the movie.
