The vehicle does not roll back on the slope. But when you are on a steep slope you should use the hand brake to move forward from stop. This reduces the wear of the clutch. How this is done will be taught to you by the show room executives. I had a word with Maruti executives when they came to Mumba...i. They said that Vehicle driving demo is a right of the customer. The executive has to explain the driving tips and features before the delivery of the vehicle, but this does not happen. How to start the vehicle on the slopes, park it? Read the manual, it gives clear instructions. The average that I get In Bombay is between 13-17. Note this is based on the traffic condition and the quality of fuel. Yes the quality of fuel is bad in certain petrol pumps on the Mumbai Ahbad highway. About jerking. the car does jerk if you suddenly press down on the gas pedal as you do in a stick shift vehicle. The reason is plain simple. When you press down on the gas pedal in a non automatic vehicle, you slowly release the clutch. This slow release is not there in AMT. There fore you have to be a bit careful while stepping down suddenly on the gas pedal. The vehicle tries to lower the gear to control the speed and give a gradual acceleration. But this ends up giving a slightly noticeable but not rude jerk in the vehicle. The highway average of the vehicle is 20 kmpl and more.Read More

I would like to categorically say that, I have not faced any problem of the front tyre wearing off. Tyre’s wear off if the wheel balancing is not proper. Wheel balancing in India no doubt is an unprofessionally done job. The steering alignment work done by most of the shops done, leaves much to be d...esired. Experience of using an electric shaver

Guys, I have been using electric razors for the past 14 years. I experienced the same problem of irritation and rough movement as indicated. In those days one could'nt have access to phoren maal. But I learnt from my american friend that something known as pre shave lotion existed. I did a lot of re...search in 1999-2001 but could'nt get the ingredients of it. So I used to be satisfied with using fine talcum to reduce friction. Pre shave lotions are not available in india till today. But the chemical engineer in me never stopped researching. The action of preshave lotion is that it closes the pores of the skin therefore the stubble stand up and its easier to cut. The same can be achieved by using 'Lakme matt effect' astringent. Spray it and watch the stubble stand up. The astringent has the same chemical recipe of preshave lotion. After spraying, take talcum powder and spread it over the chin neck and cheeks. Now go ahead and use your electric razor. I assure you a silky smooth and clean shave. No burn, I stand guarantee. I have been doing this for years and am ready to enter any smooth shave competition to support my claim. Also from 14 year of electric razor experience all I can say you that the rotating head last for two years and panasonic vibrating head for a year. The replacement of head of either panasonic or philips is 70% of the total cost of the razor. So its worth buying a new one. So never buy a costly razor. I had one(HQ 7290) and the blades really dont last beyond two years. I brought the razor for Rs 6400/-. The blade replacement costs Rs 4,400!! I am ready to take any of your queries to make electric shaver use an good experience.Read More
