What Lies in the word 'Power'

By: pujagarg2005 | Posted Feb 01, 2011 | General | 467 Views

I feel that Power can give fame and money but can it give one inner happiness!

Reading through the newspapers for the last week, which is more of a pain, than a reader’s delight these days, I read that the Muslim population is all set to rise; a one time prophecy I remember to have read. Well, time will prove it. Subjectively, they need to be more educated and liberal. Christianity has another theory but all religions believe in goodness.

My family and I were watching the Zee Awards 2010 for movies last night when I realized that it’s the Khans who are ruling the silver screen. My Name is Khan was given the best story award. I liked it though it was Dabangg which became the best film.

No one can deny the sorrow effects of the Civil Wars going on between nations, viz-a-viz India Pakistan, Americans and Afghans, irrespective of the fact who is behind them. I felt bad when I was questioned on being an Islamic in a hotel in Bangkok when I asked for a simple needle to stitch a torn button to my cloth.

What I like are the revolutions occurring all over the world like the one going on in Eqypt, where the young Arabs are hungry for jobs and the one in Sudan, for a 54th nation dividing Africa between north and south. No one can ignore the humanitarian jobs of USA President, Mr. Obama. India still stands united.

It signifies the victory of goodness over evil. If we look at any sector in human life, viz-a-viz religion, politics, corporates, society, defence services, nothing is free from corruption. Climate change effects are increasing day by day but we all know that Goodness will win over bad. So, let’s not be after ‘Power’ and live as one.
