The word terrorism is significant of ‘Osama Bin Laden’ (leader of Al-Qaeda), the terrorist who made 9/11 happen and shuck the whole world. Terrorism became more elaborate and intensified with more such incidents all over the world, after 9/11. Entire America was horrified and saddened by this horrifying act of terrorism.
On 2nd May this year, U.S. President Obama declared to the U.S. and the world that they killed Osama in Abbottabad, Pakistan at midnight. The operation was carried out solely by the U.S. and Pakistan was not aware of it at all. The radars of the Pakistan could not detect the presence of U.S. troops and hence could not do anything about it. Pakistan condemned this act of U.S. of doing such an operation without their cooperation and awareness. International politics intensified with strained relations between U.S. and Pakistan. India too is being condemned by Pakistan.
The people who were innocent victims of 9/11 were celebrating after the news of Osama’s death. This is one of the biggest achievements of Obama’s rule as a President. People will look upto him with respect and dignity.
Al-Qaeda is sure to reply back to America by a major attack for killing their chief. Some say that Osama was killed due to the inter-gang rivalry among Al-qaeda and U.S. took advantage of this situation.
Whatever is the reality, the greatest terrorist of his times is dead and the world is rejoicing.
