India is extremely hot these days, especially Northern and Western India. Temperatures are ranging from 39 degrees Centigrade to 45 degrees. Even the western parts of India are burning with heat. People find it hard to travel out of their houses during the day. Evening are pleasant and henceforth the correct time to move out of one’s house.
Climate changes and global warming along with unpredictable weather conditions are mainly responsible for such high temperatures. These temperatures are not the normal ones and year after year, their figures are rising. The related illnesses are also immense and troublesome.
People have started buying Air Conditioners and Coolers to keep their homes cool and fresh. People often travel to hilly places as it is also the holiday season in India when schools and colleges remain close. But everyone cannot afford it and find it difficult to beat the heat with privileged resources. They often use bamboo sheets with water to keep the air cool. Yet some struggle with the heat and live with it.
Praying to rain Gods is also a means to invite rains fast. With June near the corner, rains are to begin soon. South of India has already started enjoying some of it. Mumbai is witnessing cooler days and foggy weather.
Rains come and the earth will smile with beauty and greenery.
