You ask me about my childhood and I have tales to tell. The tales which can keep you captivated and engrossed throughout the day…

As a kid I was quite fascinated by the Stars, not the celestial but our bollywood stars. I remember every Saturday an actor’s preferences, likes and dislikes were published in the newspaper. There were around 20 questions and the 20th one gave the postal address. I used to send fan mails to the stars. Of all the stars I sent letters to, only two of them obliged.

Govinda was the first one to reply to my letter… My joy had no bounds…! The second letter was from.. Hrithik Roshan..! I was 14 when Hrithik made his debut in Bollywood. You can check the autographed photos and I have uploaded the letters in my Photo Gallery.

With the advent of technology, one can hardly think of sending letters to anyone including the stars and the moon. We can easily send e-mails and the soft copies of the photos are exchanged without any hassle… The actors now are on Twitter and the other networking sites..! How convenient things are..! We can maintain a secret blog on the web and it will be a secret forever…

A blog…! This reminds me of my grandmother, she religiously maintained a dairy and updated it throughout the year. A Diary might be a gift or at times a purchase, but she had one before the commencement of the year. She used to write all the important events of the day and everything relevant. But when she was in her late sixties she stopped writing and I notice her reading and disposing her old diaries… She didn’t want us to read and so she disposed it all before her death.

Nowadays there are umpteen blogs written throughout the day. Whatever they write is there, but it might be a secret for the rest…! Apart from saving papers, technology has helped us in expressing ourselves and in keeping it a secret…! We don’t know how long we are here for but we love what we do..!

I am reminded of this song… ‘Mai Pal doh Pal Ka Shayar hun… Pal doh Pal meri Kahani hai , Pal doh Pal meri Hasti hai....Pal doh Pal Meri Jawani hai..

Quite true.. Isn’t it?
