A word with a deep, intense meaning, life’s existence revolves around man’s relationships with man and Nature. We struggle every moment to keep our relations strong and healthy, be it at home or even at work. From birth to death a person’s success or failure is measured by the kind of relationship he/she has had with elements of this world. A good relationship today is not one that just lasts but one that coexists with self-respect, individuality and the need to grow.

These days a lot of problems occur among various types of relations e.g., parents and children, husband and wife, wife with her in-laws, among peer and friends. We as humans have different levels of IQ (Intelligent quotient). This may mismatch between man-wife, kids and their parents so on and so forth. One must be able to adjust to the difference of one’s thought process with another. Life is all about living happily within differences.

Husband and Wife-

Marriages these days have become a ‘child’s play’. One gets married today and within months they seek counselors and psychologists help. Divorces have become so common that many youngsters prefer to remain single.

Siblings –

Siblings are brothers and sisters growing together. They alternately love and hate each other, but one thing’s for sure—what would we do without one another? Our companions for life, our competitors, our confidantes, our rivals, our comrades-in-arms against the whole mad world—what would we do without them? No other bond in the world can beat siblings at sharing such a unique and complex love-hate relationship!

Learning such important social skills usually takes a lot of time, but they are imbibed much faster while living with brothers and sisters. Children with siblings learn how to share and resolve conflicts quite easily. And with the right kind of guidance from parents, siblings also get a lot of practice in learning how to be cooperative, supportive, and nurturing to others.

Children and Parents –

Parents make their kids. With age, grown up kids face generation gaps and issues related to it. Parents never wish for anything wrong of their kids but when the children grow up they seek their freedom of thought and expression. Parents must not impose themselves on their children and the two should share a friendly relationship.

Professionally, between employer and employee a kind, humane and distant relation must exist by which they can grow themselves and help each other in their company’s growth.

With Nature, man needs to be kind and understanding. Nature has given man a lot and we must learn to respect and preserve it rather than destroy it for their selfish means.

As humans, we should try and make every relationship work for the good of each side.
