Then comes few packages like... you can wear anything, shorts, singlets, anything. Every1 likes it in their house... hehe so am gonna be the item girl of their house hun? ;) lol
I dont understand why everyone is so no-no abt meetin and knowing a person nicely b4 committing in an arranged marriage situation? Are they so sure that their son is such a disgust, he will be caught in that period n the gal will be out of the net :P
Then comes ppl who are quite open-minded abt their bahus to work as far as it is workin in their own biz... when u ask what is their biz... u realise... sure u wud urself say a no to workin... :P
The worst thing abt the pre-wedding awes is the ppl arnd ur own parents... mainly relatives... they feed them with ideas against u... sayin ur daughter has crossed the ideal age of gettin married... nw she shud settle in for anyone... they want the best for their own kids bt when it comes to other kids they wanna behave in the most aweful ways !! So yeh jokes apart by now both my mum n pa are heart patients... hv got angioplasty done... smtimes I think is it cz of me? Is it such a bloody big thing to get married even when u dont like sm1?

A person I know met sm1 and that guy was banging his one fist on his open palm and makin statements... oh b4 that lemme tell u that he had come in Bappi Lahri get-up... totally laden with gold... apparently he was a jeweller too bt this doesnt mean u wear ur whole shop stuff n cm to meet a gal. So anyway he was sayin... I want a wife who is this and that, who takes care of my entire joint fam and doesnt have any interests of her own... I dont like travelin, [I dont like any nice thing[in short]]... he wanted a Tulsi from Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thi ;)
I am the way I am cz of reasons I believe make sense, if it doesnt make sense to you then u anyways are nt the right one... and seriously I dont care !! Every1 dreams of a better life n so do I... Agreed am nt the best person in the world but if ppl above can be so shameless then all I hv to say is... "EITHER MY WAY OR HIGHWAY" !! ;)
P.s.: There are many more incidences like this which Reena is goin to jot down frm every1 and write on it. Sm1 tellin how high his IQ is, sm1 tellin he wants a house-keeping instead of house-wife, sm1 who wants a dumb wife agreeing on everything he has to say, sm1 cancelin weddin cz they cm to know the gal side cant afford a big Indian royal wedding, etc. Waiting for ur write-up Reena. ;) You have to do it this time !! lol We all deserve a great laugh !! ;) :D
P.s.2: No I dont hate men, ANYMORE... this is just a write-up to highlight the Pre-wedding Awes a girl faces. Sure ppl getting offended can come up with the similar one frm guy point of view. ;)
