Atithi tum kab jaaoge?

By: WHITEROSE | Posted Aug 19, 2011 | General | 1038 Views

Hi people how are you? I’m sorry I’ve been busy doing nothing. Hope life’s fantastic. Hope Corruption comes to an end and hope good people don’t receive the rewards only in the final stages of their lives… they deserve to receive n enjoy the sweet fruits of their sweetness for a long time before they die… so they know it was them n not just luck or past-life’s goodness carried forward. :) haha…

So… I have 2 things in my mind to talk about. Actually 3. Gonna speak on 1 of them and empty my heart lol…

No offence to the good ones and “take it as an honest feedback” for the bad ones… GUESTS.

Guests come from all over the place, all the time, anytime, with prior notice or even gate-crash. The old saying “atithi devo bhav” is quite nicely followed by my family members in their capacities.

So guest means hospitality from your side even when they don’t plan to flush after they pee or their sweeeeeeet-cute child poo-poos or the male guests who flushes or don’t doesn’t matter coz their goal’s never right and their pee is all round the place. Yuck!

More to go… I never understand why suddenly you lose all your manners n let lose your kids in other’s house so freely? If you can’t take care of them, why in the world you brought them to the world? Careless fools!! They think, their kids can be babysat by someone else and they can enjoy shopping while their kid’s droppings are someone else’s matter.

Then comes the lovely gifts you get, which weren’t really required but thanks if you got it and you wouldn’t take it back no matter what. But WHYYYYY you want to tear the wrapping for us to try it and look like a clown just for you to “aww… how nice…” about it?

Most important thing comes the food !! “Oh pls do not get into the hassle of cooking anything intricate… just the basic food would be good.” 1stly such kind of comment is considered modest but not to be followed. 2ndly, by any chance you take that and start preparing something basic… you get the list of do’s and don’ts n exact proportions of what not. Why not say it on 1st place itself when asked than barging in later. And worst, being taunted on a future date…!! ha-ha

Then comes the talkative ones or oh! The smart ones who mingle with everyone!! They wanna talk to you about everything whether you are interested or not… ask you about you and then judge you by the lil conversation you had. Or the never ending “who is the best fool?” arguments which sometimes become a lil too loud for me.

Like I said, not all are so bad and not all are all of the above. There are these nice ones who come with the nicest words n smiles, no hassles, clean n no mess, help you understanding your work load has increased coz of them, talk without crossing the lines and if you are lucky, get a decent present also… but you really wanna hear that? Naa… ;)

Back to the bad ones… the couples who come and sometimes expect or are voluntarily given a room. Bigger the cities, compact are its apartments but these brainless love-makers would lock the room coz they can’t curb their itch… which in short would mean loss of one important bathroom from our lives for the night !!

I’m quite fried like you can figure so I shall try writing the end-note…

You don’t get to sleep the way you wish to, you don’t get to brush or pee when you want to, your house n most importantly your bathroom is in mess, you are being tormented by their kids standing on your head while you are trying to tell your friend over chat on how you want to run away from the mad-house for a movie or a coffee or whatever… they treat you n your house as a hotel and its employees. Truly, if my house was a hotel, it would be doing the fastest business in the market.
