A Walk with Flora !!

By: WHITEROSE | Posted May 28, 2014 | General | 463 Views

Hey everyone!

how are you?!? It's been a while I've posted here and did I miss it. oh yeh! completely!

It's amazing how I can talk about all that I want to and have an audience in form of all of you! thanks for all of that:)

So. I'm thinking about getting back to my old style of REVIEWING anything and everything I come across and warn you or encourage you to go ahead with it. What say? Good ideas? Oh yeh! It is I know. and just when I thought I would do it. and type in the product's name and aaha. it is not here and then the long process of getting it registered and then reviewing it. so no worries. will prepare a long list of things and places to be reviewed and be back with a bang ASAP!

So as of today I want to talk about the beautiful flora around us. The plants, trees and lovely-lovely flowers! This is probably the best time in India when you can see so many flowers bloomed at one time and it makes your morning or evening walk just amazing.

So last year during the same time I had clicked pictures of almost every flower I came across no matter how funny it appeared to people that I would just stand up in middle of no where and start my lights, camera, action but unfortunately I LOST MY DATA:"(sob lol

And this year has been quite action-free since I never made it to walks like I did last time. So am waiting to push myself and going back to see the flora around!

I wonder why people say Mumbai doesn't have a lot of greenery? I mean come on! There are buildings all over agreed but then there are trees and flowers grown all around it. I mean it's a pretty scene for me at least and I can see at least 30-40 DIFFERENT varieties of flowers in my area and that's incredible.

Last year I was introduced to this heart-warming, breath-taking flower cum fruit tree which is so fairyTale-like. I'm in love with it. The name is Cassia Fistula, the golden shower tree, Amaltas. You have to see it to feel the charisma. I liked it so much that I suggested my friend to keep her daughter's name Cassia. Ye I think I went too overboard with it. hehe. umm.

And there are so many others out there. I think a short brisk walk early morning or evening before it goes dark can really raise your spirits up if you have all these flora around you.

May be I can just say: Thank you God for creating them and thank you humans for raising them:)

So you guys tell me. how are you enjoying your summers this year?
