I know seeing the word "Politics" will not be attractive to many people here and most of them won't be even bothered to go through this blog when they hear the word Politics and India together. Politics have recently, touched new lows in our country thanks to the approaching general elections as well as assembly elections in a few Indian states. Politician, as usual, have been making bizarre statements and we often wonder, that these are the people we elected.
Our bright and Vibrant democracy has been tarnished because of some corrupt and useless politician and the things are not improving. It will be really interesting to see how the picture will turn out as the elections come closer and closer. I believe, that each and very one of us or at least most of us do not have kind words to say about most of our politician. But, I want to ask one question, "Do we have a choice?"
The Anna Hazare movement was breakthrough movement which united Indians and citizens became self aware of their rights and duties. Apart from voting, we also have a special right of protest and to question our government about the governance. It is time for us to get up and be aware of our rights and wisely choose our leader. How can we be so careless and casual while selecting our leaders?
I hope our country wakes up and I am being very optimistic about the future of our country and people.
