Yes, its monsoon time. Rains here and rains there, rain rain everywhere. I love the monsoons. According to me, the nature is at its best during the monsoon. Getting drenched in the first rains has been like a tradition for me since childhood. Rains has its own charm which no other season has. Although every season is special but rains is doubly special for me. I can just sit on my balcony sipping some hot coffee and watching the rains for hours. Its also amazing to see children making paper boats and leaving it on the water accumulated on the ground. I have many good childhood memories of playing in the rains with my best buddies.
Although the rains are good, but excess of rain may create a havoc, literally. A city like Mumbai can come to a halt when its raining cats and dogs. Who can ever forget 26th July,2005. The whole city of Mumbai came to a standstill then. It inconveniences many people, but still I love rains.Rainy season can be best experienced on the hill stations like lonavala where we have many waterfalls in which we can get drenched. I remember going with friends in lonavala during rains and after getting drenched enjoying hot bahjiyas and tea. Its an awesome feeling. Driving through the khandala ghats, you can see the true face of our mother nature. Its green and refreshing and the air is so pure there.I suggest people to take some time out of your busy schedule in this rainy season and enjoy the peace and sanctity.
