Recently I just read a blog where this guy mentioned how lying can be good at times. I think this is utter crap!!! Nothing justifies a lie. To cover up for one single lie, it takes several other lies. Yes, it is definitely very difficult or rather impossible to say the truth most of the times. Some people are just habituated to lying, they just can't be honest. I am writing this blog today not to preach or because I have never lied in my life, but because I have lied a lot in my life and there came a point that I was sick and tired of it.
Whenever one lies, there will always be something pinching him/her inside. This something is conscience. The results of lying can be really good at times, but not to forget that it will always be short-lived. At some point, one has to speak out the truth, and sometimes it gets so late that the damage because of a lie can just not be undone.
People throw garbage all around and say that it's no biggie, is that right? Nature is not mild; you throw dirt in the sea and over time it will give Tsunami. Kids lie to their parents that they are going for classes and go roaming out with friends. What if there is a bomb blast at that time and no network coverage, what if your friends abduct you; how will your parents ever save you when they have no idea of your where-a bouts?
Men give a rosy picture to women to get into her pants, they make promises which they themselves are not sure of keeping, and later on when the woman starts to expect, these same men turn out to be daemons and yell on top of their voice saying that whatever they said was a lie. How is a woman supposed to deal with it?
Employees lie at their work place and take leaves to go out with friends, how about the loss that the company faces because of such a lie?
When somebody passes away, relatives don't find it appropriate to tell their closed ones about the loss immediately. I mean how does this make sense, won't they have to eventually inform about the truth?
Parents lie to their kids when they cannot afford an expensive gadget for them. Really parents, don't you trust that your child will understand your budget?
This is to everyone who are reading my blog right now, remember that if no one's watching, God is watching you. You can lie to others, but not yourself. Your lie will only make your soul cold; it's just a matter of time.
Trust yourself and people around you. Be honest, gather your courage to speak the truth. For those who want you to lie are the people who were never meant to stay. Nothing can survive for long on the basis of a lie. When the foundation is weak, no building stands for long; it only collapses.
