Despite after being beaten and battered in the TV market by newer brands like LG, Samsung and many others, SHARP as a TV brand remains unique and revered. Not only is SHARP the market leader in the land of technology(Japan), but it also has introduced the biggest LED TV in the Indian market.

Its latest release in India is LC-90LE740X, a behemoth 90" LED TV featuring 3D, Internet and many other features. This is a 1080p panel, capable of running at 200Hz and is also backed by Sharp’s Quattron video engine. Quattron is SHARP's proprietary color technology, which uses unique Red+Green+Blue+YELLOW color-mixing(instead of the normal Red+Green+Blue system used by any other TV in the world), thus adding another 1 billion sub-pixels tothe TV! The attached pic demostrates it. The whole television is finished in Aluminium, weighing 64Kgs. The 90-inch TV with a 3-Year Warranty and the Smart TV functionality gets the user full access to Aquos Net+ portal, including Skype and Internet-browsing.

The TV can be controlled using Sharp's own app, which allows the user to easily use or browse the Internet on the TV, as well as a standard remote control. Other features include 3D, 2D to 3D conversion, Simultaneous viewing of 2D & 3D, Active Backlight, Eco Mode, SRS TruSurround HD & 3D Surround Sound Enhancement Modes, Remote or Key Lock, Audio Only, Auto Volume Leveler, Complete Key Board for Internet, Wireless Mouse Operation, Skin Tone Protection, Hotel Mode etc. Sharp also has 60”, 70” and 80” TVs which can also be used as blackboard with its super sensitive touch screen and smart stylus. The user can change the colour of the board, write and doodle with stylus or his finger in any contrasting colour, the writing LED allows multi touch on-screen. This TV however is priced at a whopping 19,99,990 INR. A little too steep for an average TV viewer, nevertheless justified by its size, isn't it?
