Feeling Suicidal

How I wish I had not followed my passion for equities and landed in another sector.

Another horrible day at work for reasons I have no control on, for reasons that don't seem to end. In this period of recession and Job Losses, stock brokers are the least sympathized with. I mean how many times have you heard of the govt. coming about with a package for us?

No but seriously. A lot of my friends say that my folk deserve the apathy cause "We were responsible for all the bubble..... It's us the drove the stock market valuations so high.... even at 21000 Sensex India's fundamental's are strong"

Don't blame them. I have friends to whom I recommended Reliance Capital at Rs 2500. As I write this the stock languishes at Rs 308.

I knew I was lying to them. I knew that the whole " India’s fundamental story is strong" was flawed. Just refused to believe it. Had brokerage targets to meet.

But I never knew the worst is not over. I thought the Jan Crash was bad. I thought Oct 27 (a day b4 diwali) was the worst we've seen. And today after several consecutive days of correction the pain is not over.

And just as to seem that there is some light at the tunnel another day with another set of evils you can't wish away.

Here prayer doesn’t matter. Poojas and ceremonies around the trading terminal don't matter.

The market is a beast that chooses to kill. You’re at the mercy of this beast and each day humbled by it's prowess to surprise you.

Here’s wishing that none of you go through this ordeal L
